Special Notes:

The preview version firmware does not support local installation via the OTA app. Please use the USB installation method instead.;
If you are installing DUDUOS for the first time or need to perform a clean install, you can add the files in the "Factory Reset" folder to the root directory of the USB drive and then perform a USB upgrade;
The firmware does not include voice assistants by default. DUDU7 users who wish to keep the original assistant should delete the "AllAppUpdateA13.bin" file;
This release has enabled the new Minimalist Mode and Vehicle Control Center by default, without the need for additional activation;
Some themes in the Theme Center do not yet support Minimalist Mode. Please wait for theme updates.

Question for clarification, as I do not want to do a factory reset: I understand I can leave the entire Factory Reset folder as is and just don't move its files to usb/root, correct? No need to delete updatecfg.txt any longer and config.txt, AllAppUpdateA13.bin are not needed for an ordinary update? I don't use Toppal.

Thank you for the development of dudu os and the listening to users and the ability to make choices of what is relevant and what is not for use in a car, Because it is not a toy but it is a tool which have to make driving easier.

I have 1 question about that "Tool" point:

Is Google Assistent fully integrated? so you don't have to start android auto to ask google to phone,play music,play spotify and navigate?

acvdmolen Google Assistant can be installed in the PlayStore, but it is not yet deeply adapted

YAOXILONG Okay will that be in the future? Because that is a very important thing for most drivers to have.

acvdmolen Google Assistant basically works but there are bugs such as GMaps starting in full screen not in PIP then. The bug is still present in v3.5 RC 241211, I had reported it for v3.5 beta 241118 (https://forum.dudu-auto.com/d/630-google-assistant-gmaps-pip-error). If I remember correctly, the bug was not present in the stable version 241008 so my hope is that it will be fixed for the next stable version.

gismo okay but it won,t work as designed at this moment because default is gmaps but there is not an option to exchange gmaps for another navi app suchs as TomTom Go wich is very populair in Europe. Also no action when i want to call one of my contacts or want to play a list from my Spotify or use internet radio through Tunein app.

acvdmolen For the music it works great with YT music. I can confirm it doesn't work with making phone calls. And also that you cannot select a Navi app working only with GMaps. I think if we have a bit of patience the developer team would implement both.

Hi I installed the latest update and on my radio dudu7 on the music widget and on the N.A. bar below I cannot click on thenarrosmtomget the music playing to advance like I did on last version. Also accessibility needs to be turned on for apps almost every time. In the last update it handled this better. Also really really need more than two music apps in the music widget. If that is done this would be a much better radio. Also if I have tidel playing and hit the split screen button it will switch to the app I have in the music widget thus turning off my tidal music.
