VishBK Does the radio make a “crackling” sound when I turn it on after turning off and restarting the car?
The “crackling” sound when manually restarting the radio will be addressed in the future
I replied to MihaiFlorin in the above message about this issue

dudu-lai It's not a crackling sound, it's a loud pop (you can hear at the end of the video) whenever the head unit starts up, whether it's manual or restarting the car.

VishBK Maybe there's a problem with the translation, I also meant thumping or popping.
I need you to record a video of the car making a thumping sound when you start it and send it to an engineer. Instead of manually restarting it in the mainframe

@dudu-lai - Popping sound every time car starts.

        1. Original Car Manufacturer AMP (Alpine)
        2. AMP control wire not connected

Side topic but may be associated? - The dudu7 FAN is always running in Auto mode regardless of configured TEMP setting. The only way to stop fan from operating is to select OFF in Fan settings.

dudu-lai Amazing! Initial test worked, fan shut off immediately. I will test TEMP control over the next couple days when driving.

I also didn't hear the popping sound during initial test and I think sound balance across APPs appears to be functioning again....I will update this post later this week to confirm. Thank you so much!

No more popping sounds and temp control of fan is working flawlessly. Thank you for starting this thread and resolving the problem for me @dudu-lai

dudu-lai it's still popping after the update, (allpine amp).

same here still popping on harman kardon amp - subaru outback. the one million dollar question is does this software update also requires connecting the amp cont cable (2) to the amp c harness cable to work? which means i have to take the dashboard apart again?
I updated just the software , i never connected those cables during my initial installation because i was never instructed to do so. which should be from the get go clearly stated. this is not my first android head unit on the subaru with the exact same amp, and same harness since i am using the same canbux simple tech one for my subaru. can anyone confirm this fix requires the hard wiring posted on the top of this post. thanks for everyone feedback.

mops2033 Did the update work? If the APK doesn't work, I need to send you the APK for the rolling CANBUS logs and I need you to record a video of the CANBUS logs from starting the car to the stereo thumping on your phone!
Install this APK to add the CANBUS logging always-on feature. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K81T3pjKk-N1IKCwFGOP701_8kOCknHd/view?usp=sharing
Do you use Telegram? I'm LSDUDUlai.

McDudu Make sure the AMP control harness is properly connected to the AMP cont in Zone A.

No it didn't work but I have not connected the cables I only applied the jeep APK file you shared here. The canbus car info does not show the amp power control option under vehicle info

McDudu Only the way AMP works in the above 2 cases has a solution.

Thanks I really hope this was documented on the installation guidance , to test this I will need to take my dashboard apart. I was hope you had a software option to disable the power up but what you are saying is the cable needs to be soldered to the canbus decoder harness. In my case i.am using a simple software rp5-su-001. If you leave the head unit to not power off you avoid the noise but my unit has started with a black screen randomly so I change the boot to shutdown with a 3 sec delay to avoid the false resume issue that causes dudu7 screen off glitch during car ignition

McDudu Can you look up the original host documentation to see if there is an AMP control cable?

VishBK Hello, Toyota CANBUS cannot control factory AMP on/off!
2 test methods, looking forward to your feedback results, thanks!
1: Please turn down the stock volume in “Vehicle Information”-“AMP Settings” to verify if the thumping sound is still present.
2: Did setting the stock volume to 0 stop it from thumping the next time you start the car?

Hi, the problem with popping sound solved but now i dont know how to stop the runnig logs on screen, wait for your help
