Exploring the problem of popping sounds
- Edited
dudu-lai We both know about this. And to use reboot from the top slide bar is not a solution, is just a workaround. But this problem with the popping sound on reboot must be solved. I didn't have this popping sound on reboot until the last update. DUDU team must do something about this.
I am also having this problem on my 2017 Prius JBL with a HiWorld Canbus.
MihaiFlorin These two restarts are different and will be optimized at a later date

I just bought a anti pop sound circuit board with delay timer to try if it can help.
It is so loud, that i am afraid that the subwoofer could break.
It also comes from the speakers but it not so loud.
Therefore i will try that device until it is found what causes some head units to pop.
In normal use everything is fine, but after some days the head unit turns off,and then you can't do anything about it. In normal use you can choose how to reboot but not when the head unit is completely off.
@dudu-lai - Popping sound every time car starts.
- Original Car Manufacturer AMP (Alpine)
- AMP control wire not connected
Side topic but may be associated? - The dudu7 FAN is always running in Auto mode regardless of configured TEMP setting. The only way to stop fan from operating is to select OFF in Fan settings.
dudu-lai Amazing! Initial test worked, fan shut off immediately. I will test TEMP control over the next couple days when driving.
I also didn't hear the popping sound during initial test and I think sound balance across APPs appears to be functioning again....I will update this post later this week to confirm. Thank you so much!
No more popping sounds and temp control of fan is working flawlessly. Thank you for starting this thread and resolving the problem for me @dudu-lai
