Bradha333 Same issue with my subaru 2017, you have to keep the volume super low or your speakers start crackling, and they can get damaged. This is definitely an issue with double amplification. i have lowered the power output dudu7 amp is using but then then issue is the sound is too low. and some songs with different audio levels come at a ok level, others you cant hear and then you get one that blows your speakers. This also creates additional issues if you enable sound profiles. or have the road noise based audio correction features on. I think the answer here would be to be able to disable the Dudu7 internal amp. This is something i have done with other android based headunits in the past which has solve this issues, allowing you to still use equalization and pass the signal to the OEM harman kardon amplifier without pre amplification on it. but i have not found any way to disable the internal dudu7 amp. just lower its sound output which is still pre amped.
Maybe someone here knows if there is a way to disable the internal amplifier, and another benefit of that is lower temperatures on the dudu7 itself which is a plus.
Exploring the problem of popping sounds
I am using a DUDU7 head unit in a Mazda 6 GJ with BOSE amplifier. I experience a "click/pop" sound in the speakers (especially the center speaker) during device startup and reboot. This issue happens regardless of power or wiring configuration (AMP CTRL wire is stable at 11.2V). I have tried several grounding methods, RCA rewiring and filtering, but the click persists.
I saw on the DUDU forum that some users had similar problems and received a new MCU firmware version which helped eliminate the click/pop.
Could you please help me with that as well?
Here are my MCU/firmware details:
Let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you in advance!

Thanks, I've tried messing with all of the EQ settings including power regulation which like you said only makes the volume too low. At this point this is basically unuseable at highway speeds in the Outback with the HK system. If they're unable to resolve this I'll just go back to my OEM headunit that actually sounded decent.
I think you're onto something though, one of the amps needs to be disabled somehow.
Nestoranto You need to upgrade the MCU, please check the solution mentioned in the appeal
Maybe it also would be great if the amp power would be turned off at reboot.
Press reboot, amp power 0, reboot, 5 seconds delay, rebooted.

dudu-lai Ok, I updated the MCU. The click only appears when restarting dudu. Thx.
Nestoranto Is the problem solved?
dudu-lai Yes, thank you. The click remains only when restarting the radio, but I understand that you will fix it in the future.
dudu-lai Nope there is no amplifier volume control there, what you can do is to change the general volume level which is the same volume level you are modifying with the steering wheel volume buttons here is what you can modify under the car audio state.
I have also tested upgrading the OS with factory default on settings to 3.6 beta 1, 2, 3 and there was no change on this behavior the speakers start crackling when you hit level 7 and above so if you dont want your speakers to sound like crap you have to listen to music low, which is pointless if you are driving on the highway the road noise makes you increase the volume then the crackling starts, really a shame the integration is not there at least with the current canbus , option b you lower the overall power output via the dudu car sound advance area but then your music sounds tiny there is no presence to the sound , basically you turn dts off and lower the power output, dont use any of the sound profiles, and this would avoid this , but at this point you are better off using the starlink oem unit. which is what @Bradha333 was pointing out.
