  • Cannot connect to IPhone hotspot

Is the hotspot on the phone 5g or 2.4Gwifi?

I think Iphone hotspot can work with both 5g and 2.4G, depends on device its connecting too.

Test it out using only 5G wifi

As I mentioned before connecting to different Wifi 5g and 2.4G networks works fine, but connecting to iPhone hotspot doesnt work.

Look at the IP address of the iphone hotspot.
Then set up a static IP to link to the hotspot and try it

I've tried to connect with static IP, it showed "connected" for a second and keep recconecting again and again, even with "Auto-reconnect" off. Check this video. I've tried to connect other devices to my iphone hotspot with the same settings, and they all connecting fine.

I'm trying to reproduce this for you, but we have an iphone X max here that has no problem turning on the hotspot, and the DUDU7 can connect successfully!

Help grab a YLOG. Let's analyze the problem.

Are you using VPN on your iPhone? Having "some" VPN connection over your network connection can also break proper hotspot functionality (same for Android).

When connected to the phone hotspot and then automatically disconnected, check the hotspot status of your DUDU7 device to ensure it is turned off.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Iphone 15 hotspot works great, xs max will not obtain IP

surfer63 I dont have any VPN.

DUDU-Meng Sure, will try to output that log.

Kasper618 If it's convenient, please help catch YLOG together.
