  • TPMS not working Toyota Rav4 XA40

Hello, my Canbus on my Toyota RAV 4 don/t return values about TPMS at all !!!
Previosly i had a weaker HU (EKIY) wich provided corect values from start.
My TPMS settings are now : system interconnected
Plus, on my ODB device app (Carista ) i can read this TPMS values, so i think is some bug on OS, or i'm doing me somthing wrong ...
I tried ewerithing (canbus null- reboot, canbus corect - reboot, and nothing)

PepiDan1 Will the stock screen display TPMS?

Yes, the original screen from Toyota displays the values in the vehicle settings section (the last picture, the gray one). After that I replaced the screen with an EKIY unit, which displays the values in the same section. After replacing EKIY with DUDU, I no longer receive TPMS values

PepiDan1 Does the CANBUS work? For example, door opening information and gas mileage information, are they displayed?

Yes, all info works, including info about engine rpm, trip, doors opening, doors locking, exept TPMS values

PepiDan1 Does the TPMS value update when the car is driven a distance?
Also is there a photo of the OEM screen displaying the TPMS?

        So history :
Stock HU from Toyota (don't have photo with tpms),
Replaced with some cheap HU no name (photos atached),
Replaced with EKIY T900A (no photos available, but worked info about TPMS),
Replaced with DUDU, works all info about car, except TPMS.
I drived the car about 150 km (2 hours) and no update values.
All headunits have the same canbus adaptor (Raise FT 01)

Switche TPMS settings " No Canbus" and started to work 🤔🤭

Switched back Tpms settings " System interconected" and also works 😁

Topic closed, i think... no explanation

        12 days later

        Reopen Topic !!
Suddenly info about TPMS disapeared !!!
I changed 2 canbus adapters and I do not receive information about the TPMS (photo attached)

I noticed that the vehicle information screen changes after a few moments from "vehicle status", "jumps" back in main "vehicle info" screen without touching anything.
I think it's a canbus integration problem, because all the other information (speed, rpm, etc.) appears.

        What can I do?
I don't have a problem changing the canbus, if I am sure that it will work with another type of canbus

        All CANBUS messages have disappeared?

Canbus works, transmits information about the car (doors open, TripA, Trip B, SWC works) only TMPS does not display, although the car system sees it (verified by OBD)

I have a video with the vehicle information panel, and how it behaves, but I can't upload it, because it is more than 2 MB (2.2 MB to be exact)

After several attempts, (Replaced TP sensors, after that simulated a faulty sensor ) I figured out what the problem was:
Issue nr.1 : If the system does not see all the pressure sensors (one is defective), it does not signal that one is defective and it does not display any values for the other good sensors.
Issue nr.2 : if the pressure in the wheel drops below the minimum set value, it does not warn anything.
Issue nr.3 : The vehicle information screen changes after a few moments from "vehicle status", "jumps" back in main "vehicle info" screen without touching anything.

So it's not a canbus integration error, it is an error in OS programming.
May help this post for future udates...
