This was a great installation video. High quality visually with clean voice overs. Kudos to the shop that installed it, you should promote them for their expertise, good client communications, unforeseen problem solving resolution with the ABS light; an overall top notch install. I felt for the guy when he dropped the socket down the door panel, lol. He gave it his everything from start to finish. A+

I received an email from my provider the other day about device incompatibility. I completed the IMEI.txt conversion and the Android settings on my Dudu7 now show the new information (displaying cell phone IMEI). I'll let you know if Astound shuts me off next week, haha...
reg66 I hit gangsta hacka level. Worked perfect, thanks for the step by step!
Problem: GPS coordinates and Speed information is not being recorded to saved files. Live speed data on head unit is shown as km/h, no option for MPH
Is there an updated version of either the app or firmware that will resolve the above problems? Thanks.
ElevatedVehicles his main bug is unrealistic expectations based on preconceived notions that everything should work flawlessly.
ElevatedVehicles first post has it. Just need to add factory reset folder contents to main directory when flashing.
kataraman Are you willing to pay $1200 USD for programmers to implement this feature request? If so I will make sure the time is put aside for them to complete this one user wish request that was submitted 6 weeks ago.
nguyenlammanh difference in view is user preference. On TPMS, If you buy Dudu TMPS sensors it can display info on head unit. If you have OEM TMPS, display on Dudu will vary depending on car / canbus integration acceptance.
Skillzo1 If you havent tried, I'd just give verizon a compatible imei and get the APN info...like i did with tmobile.
Smileup I don't know anything about wiring but just an observation. In your most recent video you don't have main wiring harness connected to dudu7 (next to where fuse is on back of head unit). Again, just a newbie observation.
Jurka That is awesome news, Jurka! Thanks so much for providing the update, it put a smile on my face knowing everything is working good for you.
jgsolo32 passcode =108
jgsolo32 Information is power....but without power, you can't get any information....oh man, what a conundrum! lol
Chrisdudu I'm just guessing here but I think the reason for the lack of development focus on simplesoft (which I use too) is relative to its market share. With Raise and Hiworld commanding roughly 75% of the canbus space, it doesn't make much sense to fold in another layer of challenges for such a small market share. Better to iron out the full functionality, kinks and 'bugs' of the two main canbus manufacturers that make up the majority of the space.
Thats just my uninformed opinion

could it be a software configuration issue? The difference between aux being just a feed, and the standard port requiring a canbus trigger with car being put into reverse gear? Im clueless on how it all works but just trying to brainstorm a potential
Skillzo1 positioning of 4G antenna?
Tienphongbkhn Have you tried the sound master feature? I have zero experience with it and couldn't tune sound settings if my life depended on it....just sharing a thought
westentertainer If you mean fat32 vs ntfs, format in fat32, 64GB, 128gb. My SD card is 5+ years old and speed of read/write is not an issue when recording.

Chrisjohn - Ya, it can be challenging with so many configurable options. You may have a PiP function setup somewhere, I don't know, sorry....There is also another feature called something like load apps at startup(toggle switch for a bunch of diff apps). It might be in the launcher section, but I can't recall.
Chrisjohn create a task to start APP(spotify) with Ignition on as trigger. I think tasks are under "other features" options....if i recall.
