The volume level adjustment for different sources ("Balance Sound Settings") is still there. I wrote this already in the second post. And I can't see any post that adresses this. The main problem is the low output level.
And the fan control logic is also strange. I guess the fan is also activated if the output volume is high, no matter if there's any load at the built-in amp or high temperature. This makes no sense if you want to set the volume at the DSP and therefore set the volume at the headunit to maximum.
Why do you have a SPDIF passthrough option which is no real passthrough? I would expect that a 0 dB-Signal will have 0 dB at the output and not something below. Even if I change the settings under "Balance Sound Settings" from 5 to 10 (maximum), the level is too low. And if I deactivate SPDIF passthrough, the output level is higher and with a setting of 10 under "Balance Sound Settings" the signal overdrives. This makes no sense at all.
Just fix the bugs with USB DAC (no audio for phone calls) and I'm happy. The USB DAC outputs a perfect signal already, no need to "improve" anything there.
BTW Joying has similar problems, you have to change settings to get the full signal level. And even worse, they mess up both (USB and built-in digital output),

I'm using USB and control volume with DSP. I barely make any phone calls in car so it's no problem for me.
