Isk Here's the USB to Optical/SPDIF I am thinking I'll get instead of the Douk. They both have great reviews, this one has lights to indicate the sample rate, for that reason its the one I'll buy. https://www.smsl-audio.com/portal/product/detail/id/903.html For a BT receiver I'm looking at this, but not decided. It would only be for phone calls but I think if I'll get a BT receiver it should have ldac as well. https://aoshida-audio.com/products/aoshida-blad-s1
dudu0101 Isk What are you using for your microphone when using the Douk for your BT phone calls? Check my photo above .. trying to find a good quality Bluetooth handsfree device to plug into the 3.5mm jack, then into helix dsp rca inputs. .. bought a few from Amazon but call quality wasn't very good
Isk Ah, you need a Bluetooth device that has a built-in mic or mic jack, but that has output for the sound. Dudu7 only supports one sound output at a time when, correct? We couldn't have Optical and USB or even RCA out?
Tomaso Hello Friends. I have a question about DUDU6, namely does anyone know if the USB Audio output is passthrough in this model. I would like to connect DUDU6 to my Helix and I wonder if it makes sense to install a USB HEC card. Unfortunately, the sound from the SPDIF input is not the best quality... I would not like to change to DUDU7 right away if I manage to achieve good sound via USB. The only thing I still use is the navigation sound, but in this case I can switch to SPDIF with Conductor.
DUDU-Meng Tomaso The USB output is direct and does not pass through DSP chips, etc., so the volume cannot be adjusted on the DUDU.
doozy Isk I know you asked someone else, but: I use a dsp3. Source switching via director is instant. It’s the auto switching thats a tad slow.
abidali DUDU-Meng for some reason can't send message on telegram. I logged in after a long time and not able to send a message. Can you send me a message @systele?
KenMac Hi . im using dudu6(m6 pro plus) and im wondering which is better to use for usb out device to connect to my dsp , USB interface for digital to digital or USB DAC which is rca IN to dsp. Does anyone tried both? which is better?
Chrisjohn Guys, is it just the usb-c output where you have no control over the volume or is it the same if you use either either of the usb-a outputs ? Thanks
Mikescotland Chrisjohn all usb audio are taken before DSP which means no usb audio has volume control. Volume control is available on psdif and coax which offers pass through (meaning all dsp is off). This method reaches 10Hz-24kHz (flat), over 100dB S/N and very low THD, which is excellent anyway. The max volume at 0dBf is max 0.9 though, not 1.0 (probably dsp headroom for any EQ etc which isn't switchable) but it can be easily bumped with amp gains.
