Hello everyone,
I’m running a DUDU 7 (12.3") and so far I love it — the screen, the speed, the UI — it leaves factory maps(Tesla Cybertruck) in the dust. What I want to do next is feed real OBD data (speed, GPS corrections, etc.) into the DUDU so that apps on it (Torque, CarScanner, etc.) have the most accurate inputs possible.

Below is the hardware combo I currently have (as shown in my screenshot). I’d appreciate someone who’s done this to confirm whether it’s viable, or suggest tweaks to get it working reliably.

Tesla Cybertruck

Satechi USB-C Hub (4-in-1 with 100W pass-through & 10 Gbps USB-C ports)

Cable Matters USB-C → 5 Gbps Ethernet adapter

HOTUTUKI USB-C extension / high-speed cable (40 Gbps / 240 W capable)

OHP ENET / Bimmercode OBD2 (Ethernet) cable (yellow ENET cable used for OBD2↔ENET wiring)

Optional OBD Bluetooth/BLE dongles (fallback options) — e.g. OBDLink CX, Vgate iCar Pro

❓ Questions / Help needed

Will the DUDU7 be able to read OBD data through the chain: Satechi USB-C hub → Cable Matters USB-C to Ethernet adapter → OHP ENET cable ? In other words, can the DUDU see vehicle speed, RPM, etc. via that route?

If that USB/ENET path doesn’t work, will a BLE dongle such as OBDLink CX or Vgate iCar Pro reliably feed data into the DUDU’s Android apps? Any known compatibility quirks with DUDU OS?

Is the HOTUTUKI extension cable safe to use in this chain? Will it preserve required USB-C / alt-mode / data integrity for such conversion chains?

For folks who’ve successfully wired OBD → DUDU: could you please share a wiring diagram or pin-map (which port to which device, power paths, etc.)?

I have tried the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth OBD II plugged into the Cybertruck, it connects to the Dudu 7 via BT, but seems to only send speed data, which is sporadic.

Is there anyway to get more EV oriented stats and data?
