  • CarPlay not working

I have a DUDU7 with DUDUOS 3.5. It came with Carlink 2.24.1008.1627.

However, I can’t get my iPhone 14 Plus or 15 Pro Max to connect. I’m doing it wirelessly. It would just spin in an attempt to connect on my iPhone but it never connects.

In a previous head unit Mekede M7 it would work flawlessly.

Any updated Carlink I can try or what else can I try?

I have done a factory reset to DUDUOS 3.5.

The issue still persists. For both wireless and wired, Apple CarPlay does not connect. I’m on the latest iOS 18.2.1. The Carlink screen just keeps showing Connecting, then Verification Approved. But it never connects. On the iphone, I have removed the Bluetooth DUDUAUTO device and tried to connect CarPlay. 2 devices I’ve tried and both wireless and USB.

This must be a wider issue.

1)Delete all associated profiles in the phone and the radio for Bluetooth and CarPlay connections. Even the normal Bluetooth that connects to your phone.
2)if you have any VPN profiles on your phone go into settings>general>VPN & device management> then delete all VPN profiles
3)on your phone go into settings>general>transfer or reset iPhone>reset>reset network settings then let phone reset(this will reset any WiFi passwords you had stored on the phone so you’ll need to select your WiFi network again and put your home WiFi password in again. Plus any other WiFi networks that were saved and their passwords).
4)go into your car select the carlink on the radio so it brings up the screen showing it’s trying to connect. Then on your phone go into settings>general>carplay and select the CarPlay wireless network that shows up in that screen. If any prompts pop up on your phone asking you if you want to connect to CarPlay confirm that you do. After that everything should work.

Bubbashrimp appreciate that. I will try this

I disabled the Personal Hospot on my iPhone and then it was working.

      6 days later

So it works on my iPhone 15 pro max, but not on the 15 Plus.

No VPN profile, hotspot off, reset network settings. Not connecting

      a month later
