surfer63 wybitny2 No. It is not possible to modify this on the 7870. It uses different signatures, compiled scripts, and it changes for every new version.
surfer63 Currently the developers asked FYT (the hardware manufacturer) and Unisoc (the CPU manufacturer) how this is arranged in the Android 13 firmwares: Is it a bug, or is it now working differently? We are waiting for that answer.

1ccs-todd Sorry my OP didnt mention. I am testing on a 7862 unit. I just checked : Global_DUDU7862_2412220202_2412031746.7z and there is still an incomplete sprd_performance_config.xml file.
lDDl 1ccs-todd if i can't find system and etc folders using stock file manager, should I simply create them and put the xml there? Or that folders is hidden?

YAOXILONG lDDl They are discussing system directories that are hidden in the built-in file manager. To view them, you would need to use a third-party file manager.

wybitny2 lDDl Wait, a newer test version will be released, it will be fixed. Now there must be tests and if it turns out to be good, it will be released for use.
YAOXILONG DUDU7 runs on Android 13 and does not use the outdated sprd_performance_config.xml file. The entire DUDUOS series will address memory usage optimization in the next update across all devices.
