• DUDU OS
  • Improve memory optimization in DuDuOS/DuDu6/DuDu7

[FEATURE request]
Currently on the 7862 versions the memory optimization maxes out at 6GB internal memory, while 8GB and 12GB are also delivered. It would help users if you would optimize memory for those users as well on thise high-end models, especially when using the "no-kill" functionality, which of course uses a lot of extra memory.
This is done in the file "sprd_performance_config.xml" inside the system partition in "/system/system/etc".

Mario Dantas and myself also used this in our enhanced kernels (although we went to 8GB as there were no 12GB units at that time).

I'm curious how things will go with uis7870, it's an interesting topic that brings greater optimization. If this option worked, I suspect there would be a long-term positive difference for this processor. Now, based on dudu6, I believe that the RAM in dudu7 is not optimized, that there should be memory optimization, but it is not known how it will work on this processor and whether this particular entry will bring any results. Maybe I'm wrong and the optimization has already been implemented, I'm not that experienced in this matter. Comparing dudu6 and dudu7, I doubt that it works in a different way, rather this option is missing. A better processor and faster RAM give some results without this post and I think that's the only reason it works. I'm not sure about anything. I'm writing this based on tests. Maybe not the program, but the way dudu6 and dudu7 are used every day. I think this is the best test.

surfer63 It's just a pity that you can't try this entry to see how it works. At least I don't have that knowledge. You are amazing, I admire people like you.

I clearly state that based on the comparison of dudu6 vs dudu7 there is no memory optimization. Applications are killed, they do not sit in RAM. There is a problem with apps, the navigation app thinks too long. Now dudu6 has become formula 1 compared to dudu7. This entry is clearly and 100% missing. I am 100% sure that there is a problem with RAM Optimization. Supposedly a newer processor, faster RAM, but the problem still occurs. Dudu6 has RAM optimization modifications and dudu7 does not, I am writing based on this.

Yes, we know. Please wait. Unisoc is working on it.
It can't be fixed overnight as it requires testing and then implementing before it can be rolled out.
