picasso1850 Respectfully I disagree with you. When you buy a phone do you get a manual for every setting? No you don't. Nor a description. I know that the learning curve of Dudu OS could be very steep sometimes, but it is the same thing as with the phones. You have to play with the settings to see what every setting does. And most of the settings that don't have the explanation sign (?), have a very easy to understand graphic description. You have the wiki guide. May I ask how many times have you read it? Because like Dudu, many electronics producers do not provide a manual anymore but simply a QR code that takes you to the online version of the manual. I don't know if you owned other Chinese head units before. But believe me that the wiki guide is much more complete than what you get with the other brands. For the bugs you have this forum or the Telegram group where the community is much bigger and I bet you'll find your answers much faster there than here. But it is everyone's choice.

      MihaiFlorin Of course every smartphone manufacturer creates an owners / users manual before shipment to consumers. I can't think of one electronic device that doesn't come with a users manual, physical or online.

      I have read the wiki many times, in many different languages, since it is not a standard wiki across all languages....which is another example of poor deployment. I have never owned an android head unit but the main reason I selected Dudu was due to active software management. But I also think Dudu is sold as a premium product so it should be polished on all levels. 🙂

        MihaiFlorin I must say the Mekede customer service is fantastic. I have consulted twice and they are patient and very prompt in trying to sort any issues. I managed to get PIP working properly by doing a factory reset and re-configuring. It is now working perfectly and I have a better understanding on how to set it up. I must thank you and others for also sticking with me when I had questions and appeared clueless! Everyone was very patient and courteous - thank you! I had a no-name Navi device before this and the customer service was non-existent, they were horrendous. I would highly recommend Mekede and the DUDU7 - it is awesome! I agree with @picasso1850 in that a basic physical manual to set up the basics would be a great start, or at least some short YouTube tutorials. The ones available aren't very good. Thank God for this forum! It has been fantastic for me.

              I am sorry, but I disagree as well.
              Every phone has a manual that describes most of the Android settings, and the specific settings for that phone.
              But as such it doesn't matter whether you get a manual with your phone or not.
              The point is that when you buy a car, you always get a manual and somethimes even a separate "multimedia" manual (I am used to that for VAG cars). This unit is for cars, it is not a phone although it runs Android.
              These dudu7 units position themselves as the top off Chinese units. They should come with a good manual for the Dudu Settings.
              Dudu changes fast but not constantly. And it is already an age old rule that programmers should document and that "documenters" should use this to write user documentation. Unfortunately that is not the case here (and not in many other areas either, so dudu is not alone here). Some Settings screens have changed at large, but are now relatively stable. The wiki pages sometimes were not updated since 18 April.
              Dudu already created quite some informative small videos on youtube by Xiaoze. This is really a good thing, but these should also be replaced by others when settings really change.
              What indeed can be said that it is still beta, but documentation should indeed improve.
              I even think that users would want to help in case. It could be wikipedia based with a moderator. If the moderator approves it can become live.

                  surfer63 I don't want to create any polemics but I just bought a Redmi Note 13 and no QR code to online manual nor a physical one in the box. Same thing when I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I don't contradict you when you say there's a need for a manual but all of us must understand that DUDU OS it's still in it's infancy. And we all must assume this. And if we have patience I bet the DUDU team will have this things sorted out.

                      I just learned you can quick switch between radio options on the built in widget. It took 3 weeks of use to mistakenly hit that little screen button to find its functionality. Was wondering where that feature was when I first enabled it in options.

                          picasso1850 Let's not be more catholic than the pope. This is not a manual for Redmi Note 13 but a generic user guide for MIUI 14. Few days ago it updated to HyperOS. And it's a bit unfair from you to compare Dudu Auto with Xiaomi, don't you think?
                          What you say it took you a long time to find out, I have found in few seconds from the wiki guide. And you said you have read the Wiki guide. In your defense I can say that yes, it is not translated in English but anybody can use Google translate or Chrome translate function these days.

                              But I think it's absolutely fair to compare retail products that are sold to the public.

                              You misunderstand two things on my wiki research and the new button I found. I have read the wiki many times, in many different languages, this was translated automatically for me with computer. It was by this method that I learned how the different language wiki's have different information.

                              Conflicts are not bad when issues are discussed and resolved. I do not want to go to war with you. Debating points is OK 🙂

                              On the button find, that is not what I'm referencing. The button is found on the main home screen > audio widget, top right corner.

                                  picasso1850 I am glad that you don't want to go to war with me. Me neither with you. Or anybody else here. This is why this forum was created. To help each other.
                                  I am using Xiaomi phones since Mi 3. And believe when I say that in the beginning Xiaomi had no manuals. And the only languages on the device were Chinese and English. Only few years ago I made the change to iOS.
                                  You must understand that DUDU AUTO is a young company and like a baby is at the discovering and learning stage. And they don't have the resources or the human power of Xiaomi or anything similar. But believe me when I say that they are trying their best.

                                      lucaspadua Hey man. I had the same issue, and I realized I had my default navigation app also set to Waze while also having my dual pip mode app also set to Waze. Setting my default navigation app to Google Maps fixed the issue for me. I might be slightly hazy on the details but just make sure waze is not assigned to Pip 1 - 3 and that its also not your default navigation app.

                                      On another note and probably a separate issue all together, Waze does take forever to load in for some reason.

                                        It's impossible to open the same app twice, after running it in the navigation PIP how can it be repeated in another PIP?

                                        Still having the same issue on the latest DUDU7 Firmware.
                                        How can I easily solve This?

                                          Dexx77 What's the problem? Can't load PIP when you turn on the computer? What app is set for PIP?

                                              DUDU-Meng I solved, I followed the tips written in This post, there was an App set two times in PIP1 and Main PIP so that was generating the conflict.
                                              I solved This way:
                                              PIP1: Maps
                                              PIP2: AppX
                                              PIP3: AppY
                                              Double PIP (Main) APP: Weezer (in my case)
                                              This fix worked.
