CAN: Raise CAN-adapter
Car: VW Sharan 7M from 2009.

Steeringwheel Multimedia buttons are working, nothing more, though.

The newer Sharans >2010 are already in the list.

CAN-bus decoder: OD-OLO-02, HW: AV1, SW: V6, 241109:

Vehicle: Volvo XC90 V8 from 2008

I am using the corresponding CANbus decoder options in my DUDU7 (OD - Volvo - XC90 - 2003-2014).

Currently reverse detection, volume up and down, next, previous and answer buttons on steering wheel works. Parking sensors, speed, and other car state does not seem to get picked up by my head unit. Would love to have the parking sensors working 🙂

edog it's likely that this and most of the other canbus posts here, are issues with the canbus interface and not DuduOS. There's not much Dudu can do to help when there is very little detail, or even if all the features were working on a previous Headunit, or working before upgrading to a Dudu unit/beta upgrade.

For those technically able, rolling your own canbus interface through creating customized canbus interface code is possible.

@Marchnz - Am I understanding you correctly that the OD-OLO-02 decoder referenced above likely does not have translations for the car state messages I am currently unable to pick up with the head unit?

A few follow ups in that case:

    1. Is the interface to implement defined somewhere? Like, what do the messages that the Dudu7 head unit can understand that i need to translate to.

    2. Are there programmable canbus decoders that one could buy off the shelf and program or would one need to use an Arduino (or equivalent) with a canbus curcuit and create connectors + do wiring oneself?

whatsgoingon did it work on your non DuduOS unit? What information are we all wanting to provide the developer?

Marchnz Did you read the OP? We have to post canbus box an car make so they can adapt it.

I have the same 2022 Nissan Note E13 and the same Canbus adaptor, and with my limited knowledge on the Canbus wiring on the car side, I got it to to work for the steering wheel controls. However I could not get the reverse detect to work. With my setup, I could also get the FM station information on the dash.

I also bought another Canbus adaptor to check more, and this time Raise DF-13 and I got the same results.

Appreciate if you could share what worked for you and how you connected the CAN and CAN2 buses

          Thanks

It seems like ALL Nissan has been left out of the development for more Canbus codes being read in Dudu7. I believe that most canbus adapters are reading the code as when you display the canbus information (in factory set you can add this as an option) when changing AC there are a lot of codes being displayed. Again I THINK this is a Dudu issue and NOT canbus being able to read the information. I have Nissan qashqai which is similar to Rogue, x trail and only canbus info I get is reverse detection, OEM camera, SWC and very limited media display in Center display. There is absolutely no additional information available.

Tswire Just out of interest, what Canbus adapter are you using? I have a Nissan Note Nismo and it's very similar in features to the Qashqai

I hàve the dudu7 didn't realize I had to get a chip installed for the 360 cam when I got it. But I have an 2007 Acura TL type s and would like can bus integrated in for ac control and everything else. I love the system. Also if I get the 2k adas camera will a regular ahd work for the reverse cam and do I need 2 rear. Cams. 1 reverse and 1 for the DVR?

Hello is there somewhere a compability list?

I would appreciate if this Canbox could be implemented:
