  • CAN bus not fully functional

I can't get any information from the CAN bus.
The home widget can only show door open/closed.
Is it possible to get speed, RPM, water temperature, etc.?
The CAN box I'm using is "OD-LM-01".

    Ryotaro

That depends on which car model you have. There are some cars that are fully supported, some are not.

Your CAN Bus Decoder brand is OD.
OD and Raise should be from the same manufacturer.
    Setup>Vehicle>CANBUS>CANBUS>Select CANBUS, CANBUS box: RZC(Raize)
Then choose Can brand, Model and CANBUS based on your vehicle type.

The vehicle used is a Suzuki Swift (2010-2017).

Initially, I specified "OD → SUZUKI → ALL → OD".

However, when I tried to specify Raize, there was no protocol that supported my vehicle.

What should I do in this case?

      Additional information
The cable of the CAN box is connected to the OBD2 port.

Therefore, if I select a protocol that implements CAN communication according to the OBD2 specification, will it work?

I used Google Translate to translate into English, so I hope my intention is conveyed correctly.

Ryotaro OD manufacturer information labeled OD-LM-01 model protocol box. You need to select rzc-vw-pq-low, after selecting it, open DUDU's Vehicle Information APP to see if there is information displayed, if not, it means the OD CANBUS protocol box is not reading the information of vehicle speed/water temperature, etc. It is recommended that you replace the CANBUS protocol box with one from another manufacturer!

The problem has been solved. Thank you.

Ryotaro so you get all information now?

I have a vitara and would like to try it

              Some information was not available.
The following information could be verified.
Speed, RPM, door condition, seatbelt condition, boot condition and parking brake condition.

Ryotaro What did you do to solve the problem?

The CAN bus protocol has been configured as follows.
                「RZC→Volkswagen→PQ →Low」

                4 months later

Unfortunately for Vitara it doesn't work.
Is there a way to find out if the head unit get canbus signals from the car?

                  JhonnyD
In the factory setting - test protocol, you can enable the option to print canbus data on display.

Und dann ist es möglich herauszufinden was man einstellen muss?

Ryotaro Did you manage to get the reverse camera's dynamic lines working? Because the 2014 Suzuki Swift has a steering wheel sensor but the lines don't move

Dynamic guidelines are not working in my environment either.
I guess that's because the Swift's CAN decoder gets the CAN signal from the OBD2 coupler, and the information it gets from there doesn't include steering angle information, so it doesn't work. (It's just my guess that steering angle information isn't included.)
Or, the steering angle request code may not be sent from the head unit, so the information cannot be obtained. (Because OBD2 cannot obtain information unless a request code is sent.)

Ryotaro I had a feeling it would be like that. So canbus in Suzuki is a toy
