spooky777 Ok thank you. I have already seen this instruction. However, I have a problem as in the picture. I do not see any Bluetooth device. My device list is empty. This goes for both the xiaomi thermometer and OBD devices. The phone detects the devices. dudu luncher does not detect.
hafiz_tahir DUDU-HUANG i have updated my system with the script, but still, the headunit cannot find the bluetooth OBD-II ELM 327
caolz hafiz_tahir Setup>Devices>OBD>OBD Settings>OBD Category: ELM_327 If you still cannot find your OBD device, it may indeed not support this model of OBD device.
caolz hafiz_tahir Can you find OBD devices in your phone's Bluetooth device list? Setup>System>Bluetooth, can OBD devices be found here?
MAMN I also facing same problem.. my obd2 vgate elm327 could not be found in dudu OS... but when connect to my phone it working perfectly just fine..
rille caolz Make a list of supported OBD dongles! I tested 3 dongles, none worked. ELM327 is a standard so it should be no problem to support all ELM327 dongles. It looks like a cool feature but doesn't work...
JhonnyD It ist not just ELM327. It has to be named OBD2 or OBDII. Or else you can not pair it. You can try with your phone how the OBD dongle is named because you can pair everything with a phone, even nameless devices.
Christian_S Hi guys, I may have a solution for your problem. First, you have to tell what device you have. My solution was tested for 7862. Check with explorer /fem/app/ config.txt what value has in line sys.fyt.bluetooth. If you have it set to 0, then proceed to next step Get script for modifying bluetooth mod, is somewherw in the forum Modify lsec7862.sh and write value of 1 at the end of the line beginning with “sed -e …. Put everything along with config.txt on a clean pendrive and flash it. I had same problem, my blootooth device list was empty despite selecting elm327 category. Hope this helps, Cheers
jamar Well, if the OBD dongle has to be named OBDII, wouldn't be better to just remove this name filter from the device selection dialog? This will enable us to at least try some other and better dongles than those most and worst generic ones...
drivedynamix Yes, this a recurring issue, ELM OBD is not recognized and the headunit will not connect to it. I'll be happy to share any screenshot or video of the same.
