kataraman thanks for the comment. Can you tell me what files I should see when I export it? Is there one main file or many? I thought the instructions said NOT to extract the files? Maybe I misunderstood the instructions? 🤔

kataraman maybe that was the issue. I was supposed to extract the downloaded zip file but leave the main zip file from the extract... I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks.

Eurobound Just make a clean empty USB and put these files in and then you will be fine to update the unit.If you have any problem just post here to help.

Eurobound OTA service areas are international, so slow speeds are normal.
You can also download the system package via PC, extract it to a USB drive for upgrading. The latest upgrade package can be downloaded from the hot posts section of this forum.

Okay, I downloaded the file from the gmail link attached in the hot post and extracted it to the USB drive. I then selected OTA program and after it checked and notified me of the available update I selected "offline". It showed the local drive as an option and then I inserted my USB key into USB 1 and after about 5 seconds the head unit recognized that the software update was on the USB key and went directly into software update mode.

The installation/upgrade file provided here is definitely better than the zip file download provided on the Mekede site. Something wasn't quite right with the other one I had.

Wow! That was quick! I went back to the truck to see the progress and it was already done. Had to pull out the USB key in order to complete the process.

The amount of feature upgrades since I bought it is amazing. Looking forward to integrating it with my aftermarket stereo later today.

I see that the OTA issue you mentioned has been resolved through a local upgrade. If there are no other problems, you can proceed with normal use.

DUDU-Meng yes, all good so far! Even got the coax to external amplifier working and chimes still works. I'm stoked!
