Can they provide more data support?
There are multiple channels for sending covers to Android devices; providing an API would be ideal.
USB Audio Player Pro is not available in our region, and manually downloaded APKs also fail to run.

DUDU-Meng but what for? It works on any other device except Dudu. ANY OTHER including widgets on 10 year old phone! You want devs of AIMP and UAPP to provide you data of standard Android media API? Did you consult your Android devs before shooting your nonsense answer? Hint: apps using standard Android API, they confirmed it, so problem is with Dudu widget. Hint no. 2: works correctly with any other device. Any other.
And the last note: I was kind enough to contact them, which should be you, so don't stretch it now by asking me to ask them for details.
Is AIMP available in your region? Same happens with this app.

Currently scanning six locations, including one Android standard tag. If information is found, it will be displayed directly. Only if none of the six locations are detected will an internet search be initiated.

The lack of care and attention on your side will always amaze me (opinion based on your other answers to other people threads).

I downloaded the latest version of AIMP from the Google Play Store and did not encounter the issues you mentioned. As for the beta version you referred to, I have no access to it and couldn't find it using Google search either. The current latest version on Google Play works perfectly fine.
UAPP cannot be tested at this time. Google Play informs me it's not available for download in my region, and the APK downloaded from the web fails to run after installation.
We will continue exploring methods to install UAPP.

DUDU-Meng I'm not using minimalist mode but normal in generic music widget mode.. Please test normal mode and also @liamstears gave you link to AIMP.

Downloaded version 4.25.1657.RC from this link.
Tested offline and it can still read local covers. I also cleared data from the launcher and multimedia apps.
It still reads them. Did I do something wrong?

The free utility version downloaded from the official UAPP website can also retrieve local cover art. I installed it offline throughout the process, cleared the data to prevent caching issues, and imported some new songs.
All of them can recognize the cover art. Is your UAPP unable to retrieve local cover art? Have other users encountered this issue with UAPP?
Additionally, even the test version of AIMP can read cover art normally.

DUDU-Meng seems resolved.

Observations:

Never used AIMP so downloaded and surprisingly all was correct with covers.
Deleted cache for system apps like launcher, media server etc.
Unistalled UAPP and restarted HU.
Installed UAPP again and it seems both local and tidal covers are correctly read and shown.

Thanks for your help.

Now, please include in 3.7 layout without lyrics and with slightly bigger play /next /previous icon. This "no lyrics" text taking half of the widget is making me furious!

I will submit the request to modify the small plugin, but it is unlikely to be implemented since the main interface style was developed according to the design specifications.
