Mikescotland The icons on the status bar depends on how well DUDUOS supports your specific vehicle. I drive a 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, and I can only view the headlight and turn indicator status on the status bar.
In my experience, Mekede is deceptive and unscrupulous, so I’d recommend managing expectations. That said, their technical support is noticeably better than many other head unit suppliers. Providing good tech support works in their favour as a lot of issues and solutions are identified by the community, which indirectly saves them quite some money. Try asking for a replacement for an incorrect cable sent to you or a faulty head unit you received from them and they will come out in their true colour.
Bottom line is don't expect too much.
