dudu1897 stop being a clone of an apple fan boy.
I do appreciate what you're saying. And I do appreciate the hardware and approach to software. However, it's much more expensive than comparable android tablet and requires a lot of work for making it work properly.
For asking price of Dudu 7 I'd expect plug and play software wise, but I'm getting almost a beta software with bugs that sometimes impact basic functionality.
Very simple, Dudu os 3.6 should not been released until bugs were ironed out.
Pretty much all the functions (except fm radio and calls) I had on my carputer made from nexus 7 2013, including android auto, usb DAC, and reverse camera for fraction of the price.
Paying the amount of almost 10 nexuses, I thought I'd get a nice all in one package, plug it and enjoy.
But, since I have it almost two weeks now, it's constant troubleshooting. Now carlink is starting with no reason, no option changes this behaviour.
I stopped reporting bugs because I don't have time to do it. Today, another bug, Dudu decided to change the region already twice from Europe to North America.
So, idea of it, and if the product is finished some day, then yes, it's worth the price. For now, it is not.
Forgot to mention. Screen is also too bright in the night. Of course you can "dim" it more by that grey overlay. But then from driver side looks horrible with a pink tint. Should I keep going? Navbar that is to be operated with a magnifying glass, no possibility of making font bigger, and for drivers from the UK, Australia, Japan, UI that can't be fully configured to be comfortable to operate.
Would I buy it again? No. Not in the state of software now.
