DUDU-Meng No. generally what happens is my music will stop streaming, then within a minute or so the 4g drops from the signal bars and changes to Edge. Now the edge drops and I just have service bars, but no data. This happens all the time now.
Today the HU refused to connect to data. I tried removing and installing the SIM again, I’ve changed the APN, and tried various ones, I’ve turned data off and on, full restart of the HU. I removed the HU to make sure everything was plugged in, I went so far as to unplug and plug it all back in. My gps and 4g receiver are out in the open and unobstructed. Once none of that worked I did the EMEI swap with a phone I have lying around and that fixed it for a minute - then the same thing happened. 4g switched to Edge and then data dropped completely. I don’t know what else to do besides doing a factory reset, but I don’t want to do that every time this happens, and it happens a lot.
At this point I am about to give up and just use hotspot from my phone but that’s the last thing I want to do since it’s inconvenient.
