Zaid I have the same exact problem, I've tested with both wired and wireless connection. The thing here is just facetime calls that are not working, but if you use whatsapp / WeChat calls they work. so this confirms that there are no issues with the mic.

Zaid DUDU-Meng I think i might need some help, i don't want to open a new discussion in this but let me explain what happened. I tried to downgrade to OS 3.5 global version (I was on Chinese version) now my device is stuck with screen that it requires activation. any idea what to do?
DUDU-Meng Zaid Just choose your region, if you choose China, the activation reminder will pop up, because the channel is different!
Zaid im in china, i bought the device through JD, after the downgrade i selected English and there were no other settings for region.
