Since updating to DUDUOS 3.6, my FaceTime audio calls are no longer working when using CarPlay. I can hear the person I am calling, but they can not hear me - no audio is being sent.

  • I’ve connected my iPhone to other CarPlay systems in other cars and there is no problem there, it is only with my Dudu stereo.
  • I upgraded to DUDUOS 3.6 via the full USB method, and wiped the system settings, so settings should not be an issue.
  • DUDUOS 3.5 worked well, this issue is only with 3.6.
  • I am using a USB connection, not Bluetooth.

Is there a new version of the CarPlay connection app that could be causing this in 3.6?

    Have you tried if you would have the same problem via a wireless link?

          I have the same exact problem, I've tested with both wired and wireless connection.
          The thing here is just facetime calls that are not working, but if you use whatsapp / WeChat calls they work. so this confirms that there are no issues with the mic.

            Please provide a photo of the DUDU system information screen, Settings-About-Hold down the top left picture.
            Also collect model number and IOS version
            Also help catch ylog

              I think i might need some help, i don't want to open a new discussion in this but let me explain what happened.
              I tried to downgrade to OS 3.5 global version (I was on Chinese version) now my device is stuck with screen that it requires activation. any idea what to do?

                Zaid Just choose your region, if you choose China, the activation reminder will pop up, because the channel is different!

                  im in china, i bought the device through JD, after the downgrade i selected English and there were no other settings for region.

                        How did you downgrade? Did you use an overseas system?
