Gps not working on latest dudu OS 3.6

What's wrong with this picture?

DUDU-Meng gps signal is off not working. Been like this since update. It goes on for 1 sec when the head unit start then signal off all the time whatever the app.
Was also asking if i can downgrade without issue using usb flash methode ? Cause i cant have a head unit without gps

Can you tell if the navigation app doesn't have permission to locate, or if the system didn't locate successfully?
If you want to downgrade to 3.5, you can do so by flashing a USB flash drive to 3.5.

There is no satellite menu in factory setting ... I dont understand why it get removed.

Therefore with gps test like the image no fixing is made from dudu to any satellite. It doesnt even initiate. All navigation apps same issue. I checked permission all have allowed gps access

You can try downgrading to the last working version by using a USB after backing up the data. YAOXILONG why the files in factory reset ? I dont want loose my data.
Im sending the ylog as requested before flashing but there is mny folder which one is related to gps ?
Modem, ap, audio, connectivity, sensorhub ?

I'm very sorry, the logs don't show the problem.
Could you please check the GPS antenna, and downgrade test all the time.

Anyway i solve the issue.

I can also confirm that gps have trouble getting a lock.
I was in some mountain area near sea for a few days and my device was sometime have trouble getting GPS lock.

Sometimes when starting car and standing still it takes a long time to get lock, other times working as expected. It happens few times after exiting tunnel to not be able to get lock.

When comparing phone and dudu7 on GPS test app phone almost always have double satellite number in view.

And when I can't get lock on dudu7 number in view is fewer than 15.

Cuoresportivo I did a factory reset while updating to dudu 3.6, I have no problems with GPS, dudu 7

Cuoresportivo i think i have same problem as you explained, mine is getting out of my building where gps is block , ofcourse gps signal will be lost as expected . But when go outside of building. I checked my phone and it have gps signal again, unluckily Dudu7 is not . I have to run my car in the few minutes to get a signal back online. Is there way to force gps lock as fast as it can ? @DUDU-Meng

This problem is mostly caused by poor placement of your GPS antenna, resulting in poor signal reception.

DUDU-Meng the problem is caused by broken rom 3.6 on gps handling.

Both gps and weather apps broke after couple of days of use.

Gps + weather working fine after flashing the rom or downgrading the rom to 3.5. after couple od days. System broke both features.

First time : after updating system apps.

Second time : after applying a theme

Third time : after changing canbus setting.

Dudu 3.6 is broken as thesr probleme dont happen on 3.5. i tested both roms 3.6 is unusable
And please dont talk about antenna (we arent that dumb) when flashing the rom again make gps works antenna is fine

DUDU-Meng there is a huge difference between poor signal and broken protocole. You changed something on 3.6 compared to 3.5 on boot level that broke the rom. I still have to troubleshoot deeply to find what code changed and correct it myself. I would stay on 3.5 but 3.6 added a feature i asked for : soundcloud media player (still buggy but works)
