I did what you said, updated Bluetooth firmware and…..it seems to work ok now! Reliable Bluetooth connection without hotspot turning on. So thank you very much!
I have to ask though, why you didn’t tell me to do this first, as you told me to try so many other things before doing a firmware update 🤷♂️
