DUDU-Meng I also had the OTA upgrade error and followed your advice and performed the upgrade manually via USB which was successful. As you can see from the screenshots my DuDu7 is running the latest OS, however when it restarts I am continually prompted that an update has been detected and I get the countdown to perform the upgrade. I have let this run and the device reboots, there are no upgrade screens or error messages but the upgrade prompt reappears which I have to cancel every time. Can you advise how I can remove this please?

KPSM123 I really don't want to sound patronising and its definitely not my intention but I have to ask have you removed the USB drive that has the update files on?

robdx2 Not an unreasonable question, but yes I have removed the USB drive :-) My assumption is that it is a hangover from the failed OTA upgrade as this started directly after the OTA failed and has continued after the USB upgrade (I should have made that clearer in my original post). I am hoping to avoid doing a complete factory reset and having to setup the unit from scratch again.

The OTA update fails for me, as do both methods of installing from a USB drive.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?

KPSM123 You must copy the files from the Factory Reset folder to the root of the USB drive. This is the only way to get rid of that message - A fresh installation from USB with Factory reset.

MihaiFlorin - Thanks - factory reset from USB worked and restoring launcher settings got me pretty much back to where I was with only minimal configuration required. All good now

KPSM123 Glad to help. I know that Factory reset is not nice. But with the launcher backup, things are easier.

Po aktualizacji mam problem. Zrobiłem reset do ustawień fabrycznych. Nie działa mi przyciemnianie ekranu. Wcześniej miałem ustawione na wschód/zachód słońca i ekran się ściemniał. Teraz jest cały czas na dziennej jasności. Nieważne czy jest ustawione jak wcześniej czy według godziny, ekran i tak pozostaje jasny. Drugi problem dotyczy Yanosika. Wycisza mi wszystkie odtwarzacze z wyjątkiem AppleMusic. Wszystkie te programy dodałem do mixu dźwięku. Zmieniłem domyślną aplikację do map na Yanosika ale sama po jakimś czasie samoistnie zmienia się na mapy Google. Z aktualizacji na aktualizację coraz więcej problemów z tym urządzeniem.

DieselManiac i made a post about this which didn’t get any traction. I found a very unusual solution, which leads me to think that the issue is more with the quality of usb connections or potential ground looping thru the usb connection. I connected my usb powered dac to an external power source not connected to my car. It works. No noise whatsoever with my dac maxed out. I have a Milwaukee power tool 18v battery connected to a cheap Amazon 12v charger for cell phones. I only connect the dac to that. Clean signal. Crazy how that worked. I had been chasing the noise for almost 2 months. And I have all kinds of gadgets connected to my car including a full mini pc that I use to make music in my car using the Dudu 7 as a monitor 🫠

Hi. Your problem with the "ground loop" is most likely due to the low quality of the power supply that you are supplying to your DAC. The best option is to power it from an external Power Bank, the downside is that you have to monitor the battery charge. Another solution is a professional power supply module based on LM317, My xDuoo XQ-50 gets along with this system very well. Previously, I also had problems with a regular converter that sows very large interferences.

Устройство DUDU7. После обновления 3.6 перестала работать камера кругового обзора 360. Сброс к заводским настройкам ни к чему не привел. Обновлялся по воздуху.

aro1do I think you can but only DUDU OS 3/4 depends on the amp chip. You can check the compatibility via table in the FAQ.

Czy miał ktoś problem z wyciszaniem mediów przez Yanosika? Mam dodane wszystkie aplikacje muzyczne do mixa dźwięków tak jak i nawigacje. Kiedy próbuje zmienić domyślną aplikację nawigacji na Yanosika po jakimś czasie samoistnie zmienia się na mapy Google.
Nie wiem czy to ma wpływ ale podczas ostrzeżeń wycisza mi muzykę i już nie wraca. Muszę od nowa włączyć aplikację muzyczną żeby grała dalej i tak za każdym razem. Robiłem już reset do ustawień fabrycznych, zmiana kanałów audio w Yanosiku. Problem pojawił się po aktualizacji już 3.5.

Siema. Problem występuje na 3.5 czy na 3.6??
Moim zdaniem najlepiej wgrać 3.6 razem z wypakowanym plikiem ,,Factory Reset,, dopiero wtedy jednostka główna jest tak naprawdę wyczyszczona z poprzednich ustawień i plików. Problem o którym piszesz miałem w M6Pro Plus (7862s) i nie znalazłem przyczyny w ustawieniach. Chwilowo przesiadłem sie na inną jednostkę, dopiero po aktualizacji na 3.6 problem zniknął.
