Select "Local Update" in the OTA application
Note: Beta firmware not supported
Traditional USB Installation
Extract 7z files to USB drive root directory
Insert USB drive into the head unit and wait for auto-installation
- To perform factory reset, add "Factory Reset" file
- Voice assistant not included in this firmware
- To keep original voice assistant, remove "AllAppUpdateA13.bin"

My vehicle data only shows the original options. It's there anything more I need to do (installed 3.6 official just now on dudu7 6/64)? Have included other images for your info. Should I update MCU or Canbus in update section? If so, can you provide the appropriate files.

Or, are the original vehicle options showing as a restriction of my limited car/canbus data? I have peugeot 208 2014...

Basically I would like, if possible to display the following data as per your description... Ideally RPM.

Just 1 more thing, it's it possible to include MPH data as an option, rather than KM/H?

reg66 I believe it’s limited to what’s available through vehicle model and what’s going through the canbus and decoder you have installed.

To display MPH, you need to go to settings, about, global settings and select MPH there

DieselManiac i made a post about this which didn’t get any traction. I found a very unusual solution, which leads me to think that the issue is more with the quality of usb connections or potential ground looping thru the usb connection. I connected my usb powered dac to an external power source not connected to my car. It works. No noise whatsoever with my dac maxed out. I have a Milwaukee power tool 18v battery connected to a cheap Amazon 12v charger for cell phones. I only connect the dac to that. Clean signal. Crazy how that worked. I had been chasing the noise for almost 2 months. And I have all kinds of gadgets connected to my car including a full mini pc that I use to make music in my car using the Dudu 7 as a monitor 🫠

Hi really sorry if this is a stupid question but is this offical update the same as the beta5 as I already have beta5 and I don't like to run updates unless its neccessary, as I once had a unit that after a few updates broke and seller said can only be updated a few times before rom chip bricks

robdx2 I view these updates as always beneficial, never negative. Doesn't matter if its called beta or official in my eyes. The goal of the Dudu team is to continue improving the quality and UI of the system. There really isn't another android head unit supplier that matches their level of expertise and support. And by participating in these rollouts, we are on the front line helping them make it even better and more stable across a wider range of autos. Hats off to them and their team for being so focused and attentive.

You may have missed it, the announcement post states:

‘In the coming days, DUDUOS 3.6 will also be rolled out through OTA updates, ensuring a smooth upgrade for all users.’

You’ll have to wait a few days if you don’t want to update via the usb method and looking to update via OTA.

I encountered the auto-reset issue when upgrading to 3.6 beta 5 (despite factory reset). When I upgraded to 3.6 beta 4, I no longer encountered this issue.

What about the 24bit/192KHz via optical cable?Any changes in the near future?Only 48KHz supported on usb devices.

sfknasty isn't USB 96kHz? Also, when selecting 96kHz on optical out, does ot play 96kHz or up sample it to that? There's processing involved which isn't ideal. Even on USB out, it is not 100% unprocessed bit perfect signal, though, cleaner than Optical.

Michalisgk What exactly do you mean by Opel?? Generally, communication with CAN in Zafira C 2012 is ok. Unfortunately, the air vents/air conditioning panel does not work properly. Not every function wakes up the air vents panel on the head unit

I tried to update to v 3.6 via the OTA app and option but although I seem to be running v3.5, the system says that that there is no update available and that i am running the latest version already. Any suggestions?
