This connector is for the AMP control cable, do you have the connection?

dudu-lai Which pin is it supposed to go into in that connector?

dudu-lai Are you saying that the red wire is AMP control cable or that the blue AMP wire in the other connector is actually meant to go in the connector with the red wire? It is my understanding that the red wire is ACC. Please clarify and if possible, please be more descriptive/specific.

80adid Connect with original F connector

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're telling me to do here. Connect what with the original F connector? Are you asking me to confirm whether the amp is functional with SYNC re-installed or are you saying that I have the AMP control wire connected wrong? I don't know what you're saying but I have been working on this for weeks and still have gotten nowhere beyond where I was at when I first connected and powered it on.

Sorry, that's what I meant, the connectors in the picture need to be connected together

dudu-lai That is already how it's connected. If you look closely in the photograph you can see the original F connector wires coming from the other side.

Do you know of what else the problem could be?

80adid I consulted with the CANBUS bus box company and they have not encountered this either.
Typically, the cable from the F connector needs to be connected to the AMP-C cable from the A connector of the DUDU unit for the stock AMP to work.
The CANBUS box company would like you to provide a photo of the OEM screen and the OEM mainframe back connector. Are you able to provide them?
          Photos like this one

When connecting to the original main unit, plugging in all the connectors and unplugging the F connector, does it also appear that there is no sound?

Why is there a blue amp wire in the main DUDU7 harness if the red one from the other harness is for amp power? What is the blue wire for then?

80adid Do you mean ANT Power?

Yes I was told by someone else that the blue wire is for antenna/amp ON. Is that false?

80adid Right. But we are used to connecting the AMP control wire, to the AMP C of the A connector

dudu-lai Ok I understand. Am I using the wrong wiring harness? I'm not currently using the one with RCA out that you show in this picture.

                4 days later

                dudu-lai Still not functioning...

                  80adid There's nothing else I can do.

For the record. The DUDU7 does not work on a 2019 Ford Escape Titanium if it has the SONY sound system. I could have saved a lot of time if I had known this a month ago.

80adid I can see that your ACM has blue USB port. It's for the A2B interface, which is used to communicate between ACM and factory AMP. I have the same issue with my 2019 Edge and I believe there's no solution yet. The only solution is to get rid of the factory amp.

ciubaka Thanks for the insight! That makes sense now. I noticed that with the stock system hooked back up, unplugging that blue USB causes all audio to stop just like unplugging the C240B plug that holds the amp power line.

I tried to use an adapter (female mini USB to USB-C) to connect it to the DUDU7s USB-C port but no luck. I'm assuming that port is only for USB input and won't send signal to the amp. So disappointed, I actually really like the DUDU7 much much better than the SYNC ststem.

I've decided to keep it still and just get an amp to bypass the SONY one. Just a heads up if you're planning to do the same...the stock speakers are 2ohm so you'll need a 4channal amp that is 2ohm stable. Otherwise you have to replace the speakers too which is likely what I'm going to do. Cheers!
