  • Only center speaker audio

As the title mentions I am only getting sound from my center speaker. After some trouble shooting it seems like maybe my DUDU7 isn't turning on my SONY amp? I tested the blue amp line coming from DUDU7 and it reads 9.63V. Amplifier settings in Vehicles settings are all set to amounts that I cannot change.
I have no option in the CANBUS model series for 2019 HIGH w/AMP as I've been suggested.

80adid What kind of car do you have and what brand of CANBUS box are you using?

    I have a 2019 Ford Escape/Kuga Titanium w/SONY sound system. RZC/Raise CANBUS.

80adid Does CANBUS work? Are there door messages, radar sensors, climate control working?

The door messages work now and the car appears on the screen when a door opens though at first I was getting the door chime at times it wasn't supposed to be like when the car was off and I opened the door (I have push button start). That seems to be fixed now.

Sensors for backing up and getting close to walls work but have a very loud siren-type sound instead of the sound it used to make. This new sound is really unpleasant so any way to adjust that would be a blessing.

Climate control works. Steering controls work.

The ambient lighting is not working. OSD themes do not seem to work.

I did some more troubleshooting adjusting the left/right balance and I found out that the two front tweeters get a tiny amount of sound in addition to the center, but definitely not what they're supposed to..

In the settings - try to change different AMP types, for cars with AMP, The car volume can not be 0!
Also you can try to play music with the OEM host and turn up the sound, then connect to DUDU

None of the settings in the photo can be changed, they are all locked. I did not set the car volume to 0 or any of these other settings. The OEM stereo works fine.

I have been working on this for several days and it is still not fixed.

The same issue persists. I do not have the correct audio coming through all of the speakers and I still have a loud siren that has replaced my parking sensor alerts. Please assist.

80adid Do you have a photo of the CANBUS box? Pictures of the stock connector harness would be nice!

I did not find any information about the AMP of this vehicle in Raise's public information.
Under normal circumstances, after the CANBUS works, the AMP will also start. But the AMP settings you adjusted in the vehicle settings will not take effect. This situation only occurs on vehicles without AMP.
This phenomenon is difficult to explain.

dudu-lai Thanks for your responses. I have uploaded several photos and a video to my Google Drive for you to view. Just go to the link below.

Question: Should I have removed the stock ACM (Audio Control Module) that sits above the stock SYNC 3 screen or is this needed to continue powering the amp and speakers? There is a plug going to the ACM that fits into the main DUDU7 harness that has the 12v, ACC, speaker wires, etc so I assumed I needed to use that and remove the ACM but now I'm wondering if that is my issue! If I need to keep the ACM, how do I properly wire it in? Thank you!

80adid It must be removed and connected to DUDU, otherwise where does DUDU get its electricity?

Yes, leaving the ACM in was a suggestion from someone else but it didn't work. I still can't figure this out.

This is the audio output. Do you have any other Android radio device? You can try it.

I can confirm that the stock SYNC3 stereo still works if I plug it back in but I don't have another Android stereo to test. I'm aware that these are the speaker wires but are they pinned incorrectly maybe?

80adid Audio is only on connector A. What do you think is wrong?

I don't know what's wrong but I still cannot get it to play through the speakers.

80adid You can try to use the wiring harness and CANBUS box that retains the SYNC head unit to see if that solves the sound problem.

Can you explain what you mean and how I would do that?

dudu-lai Has there been any confirmed cases of the DUDU7 being installed into a Ford vehicle that has the SONY sound system? I've been working on this for over a week now and still have the same issue and no one seems to have a solution.
