Hi,
I've been struggling with installing an Android head unit in my Nissan Pathfinder for a few months now. I finally found the right (almost) wiring harness and Canbus decoder. However, I'm having trouble getting help from a seller on Aliexpress, so I'm asking here. My car is a Nissan Pathfinder R51 with navigation.
The Canbus decoder is Raise RZ-DF17.
As for the wiring harness, my car has two Canbus lines, one for communication with the vehicle and the other for controlling the media. It turned out that the Canbus media connection was connected incorrectly in the wiring harness. After swapping the cables, it started working .
Another problem is that the wiring harness does not have a wire controlling the amplifier. And here's my first question:
Can I just connect 12V to this pin? I saw that in another wiring harness (where the amplifier works) it is connected to ACC (G3) in the main connector of the head unit.
The main problem in my case is getting the visualization of the climate control settings. Of course it would be nice if the buttons and knobs on the central panel also worked.
And here are some more questions? How do I update the Canbus decoder to the latest software version? Can an MCU update also help in my case? I found information and a file with an MCU update somewhere here on the forum that solved the amplifier problem in another car.
I tried to get the contact to the technical person responsible for the wiring harness project to solve these problems with him, but without success. I simply cannot get the contact details of the appropriate person from the seller. Could someone tell me if the wiring harness and the Canbus decoder are manufactured by the same seller? And is it possible to somehow get the contact details of the person responsible for this?
