  • Exciting News: DUDUOS 3.6 Beta3 Public Test Version Release! 250328

Second to my last post about Bluetooth, I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request or both

On previous android head units I could turn off audio sending in Bluetooth settings. This way I could use my phone through the head unit for calls but still have my phone ring out loud if I had a notification (I don't stream any audio to the head unit, I use it only for calls)

On dudu you can't disable audio you must have it on or phone disconnects

Can this be changed?

An impressive upgrade with richer, deeper sound and a lighter feel!

liamstears After DUDU7 connects to the phone. The phone's media needs to be turned off because it's already handled on DUDU7's side When you don't turn on Bluetooth music it's disconnected from A2DP by default

liamstears Excuse me, are these caller numbers for recent calls exactly the same as the numbers saved in your contacts? Are there any differences in the numbers?

DUDU-Meng it’s likely that the stored numbers start with +44 on the mobile phone instead of 0.

Assuming this is UK, as 07 is the start of a mobile device number

Both these examples will dial the same number.

        +44 7123456789
        0 7123456789

Not sure if you can accommodate this within the app? As to a normal user, it would not be clear that this is causing the issue.

Добрый. Сегодня обновил на версию beta 3.Все получилось. Меню новое очень необычное. Нужно привыкать. А звук стал очень хороший, сильно отличается от простой beta. Спасибо большое за ваш труд.

The recent calls bug is new, only happens in latest beta. Yes number in recent and contacts is exactly the same.

The bug not showing picture on launcher I don't know if this is new bug or not

          CHR12345

No, the number is stored 07 everywhere, the bug only started in latest beta, recent list worked fine on last beta

I don't fully understand your answer. Is there any way to change it so I can turn off audio on Bluetooth settings of the phone and still have calls working? This would be best solution...

liamstears ### You do not need to turn off Bluetooth audio. It's enough to achieve what you want

              DUDU-Meng

Sorry I still don't understand, how do I do it?

All I want is for my phone to ring loud and not have it go to the dudu unit...

              I found another bug/issue

If you create custom shortcut you can't set it into navbar...

Nurex what you mean using the dudu7 coaxial spdif output to external dsp amp then volume will be louder then optical spdif?

Mativo same here. Because of that I'm using external USB transport because of better output. Internal output is significantly quieter

                  Hi there,
After I updated to 2’6 V3, the head unit doesn’t make any noise/ sounds on radio or Bluetooth.
Everything works fine but no sound even no static noise.
                  Canbus works fine.
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid with JBL
                  Teyes 13” 7680.
When I plug in the old radio it works normally.

abidali I agree I mean that is one of the main things, that's the reason I got it.

                    ahmedjassm

Solved I found a bad connection, there is nothing wrong with the update so far.

ahmedjassm Is there no sound coming out of it?
There seems to be some difference in Teyes' DSP chips, not sure about that exactly

I don't know if it's a software issue or if I should look for a hardware problem, but after beta 2 and now with beta 3, the device almost always starts from the logo, not fast start.
