To list one: DUDU7's sound settings Adjustments for sound effects and such are only valid for the 7739, and have not yet been adapted to the 7870's 7738 DSP chip.
While this can all be solved through software, it really hasn't bothered to adapt the public version of the 7870 as of yet.
As for how to plan for the future, I don't know.

DUDU-Meng Thanks for taking the time to answer. I really think it's worth adapting to public versions of the 7870, even if it's not today. 7870 is becoming the "standard" SoC these days, and there's clearly a market for Dudu OS on these devices, with people even ready to pay for it rather than mod it in.

I'll repeat my second question if that's OK: do you have any information of when Dudu7 will be back in stock in FR/EU stores on Aliexpress?

That's huge info, since the 20% import duties was the dealbreaker for Alibaba to me.

I bougth mine here. Talking with tech and sellers, they told me are all MeKede Family.
I live in France and when I told them I wouldn't pay import taxes, they proposed to me shipment from French warehouse, with good price

mircondini This is the universal 2 DIN model right? The one that slots into the rails? If so I have indeed seen these ship from Europe; it's the ones with custom frames for cars which don't use DIN slots which ship only from China. Unfortunately my car limits screen size when using the 2 DIN model due to obstructions, and it is in an inconvenient location. Which is why I was looking for Dudu7s with a custom frame. They do sell them, just at very high prices, and that's without the extra 20% fees importing into France.

SomeFrenchGuy I don't understand which kind of unit are you talking about, and most of all which car do you own.
My car (Citroen C4 aircross) has originally a (maybe) 7 inch display 2 din unit, fixed inside 2 din with rails and covered by a frame.
To mount a 10 inch unit I used a different frame, specifically build for that purpouse
