dudu dvr 2k gps issue and memory card issue

I made a photo of a problem.
Sometimes coordinates and gps speed as well as date is not working.
On this photo there are coordinates and gps speed but date and time is not ok.

This happens when i start car and radio when im in garage and there is no gps signal.
When i drive out and get gps signal, coordinates and speed starts working but date doesnt.
I have to restart radio when im outside with gps signal to ge it work.
Any idea why?
It doesnt refresh gps info or something?
Anything can be done with it?

May I ask if it's our 2KDVR recorder?
Please update the latest firmware to test if the problem will be fixed!
Put the file U56APP.BIN into the SD card and power on the recorder, it will automatically detect the flashing process which will last for a few minutes.
The process will take a few minutes. When the update is complete, please format the SD card after powering on the recorder.

The logger hardware does not have an autonomous GPS search function.
Speed and time are read from the car system, after the car system sleeps and wakes up, the system time will be updated from GPS only when the GPS position is successful.

I have made update like few days ago. But I'll update it later with file you provided.

It is kinda annoying that I have restart unit or unplug and plug recorder again to make it work when I start with no gps.
Like I said I start car in garage and obviously there is no gps indoor.

I have copied this file on fresh formated SD card. Inserted it into camera. Powered on unit and nothing happened. I launched dvr app and it just started recording.

I have 1gb SC card formated as fat32. Like I said nothing happens when I put it into camera.

Is the bin file placed in the root directory of the card?

Yes and it's the only file on that card.

Just to be sure format the card again, and follow these steps, use a different power source such as usb plug for the firmware update (not required but removes the power source being the issue)

2K DVR Firmware Upgrade Steps:

Copy the BIN file to the DVR storage card.

Insert the storage card and power on the DVR, inserting while already powered on will not initiate the update.

Monitor the LED indicator.

-the LED will glow continuously for 1 second
-then flash 4 times
-remain lit for about 1 minute
-flash 4 times again

It will then flash slowly to indicate that the upgrade is complete and has started recording.

Reconnect the DVR to the head unit, launch the 2k DVR App and confirm the firmware version matches the one titled that you downloaded.

It’s recommended to format the memory card directly within the app to delete the firmware update files.

If it does not go through that process, try a smaller storage card, if it’s a cheap card from Ali express, try a branded card.
