Hello, I always get an error message when I want to link whatsapp to dudu7. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.

No. I can't link the DUDU7 either.
You can install WhatsApp on the DUDU7 but when you try to link the head unit to WhatsApp on the phone, it doesn't work.
It can be because of the security certificate on the DUDU ist to old or no official android device or just because the number got flagt because of root or whatever.
I tried for hours yesterday.
There is an app that's working but it has problems with DUDU OS.
I will try to find a solution.

What is the error that you're seeing?

I've been using whatsapp on DUDU7 without issue for a couple months. I installed, entered phone number, a QR code popped up, then used Whatsapp on phone, selected Linked Devices, then Link a device, scanned the QR code, and it worked.

I don't understand, can't WhatsApp work independently on the device?Do you still need to connect with your mobile phone?

DUDU-Meng It can also work standalone, BUT then you can't use your number on the phone so it is better to link phone and devices

I am using root an xposed and then you and or the device gets flagt.
Then it is not possible to link device and phone.

JhonnyD Ahhh I see. I have run into issues linking new devices to whatsapp in the past. In one case I deleted the app data and was able to resolve, and in another I found a fix on reddit - entered a difference phone number into the new device, set it up, logged out, and then entered the correct phone number and connected via QR code, after that it worked. Just some things to try - good luck.
