  • NOT SAVING CONFIG OPTIONS

When making changes to the Android settings, they are not saved, I have my device in standby mode not in shutdown mode and they are not even saved, I have made changes such as in the name of the BT, renaming it from DUDUAUTO to a name more in line with my vehicle so that if I were to lend it to a family member they could identify it but every time I start the car this configuration is erased.

On the other hand, I also realized this since when using MacroDroid (to automate actions, such as, when connected to CarPlay, MacroDroid automatically taps on the album cover of the song and it enlarges the cover every time it is connects to Carplay), but to do this MacroDroid needs accessibility permission which I activate, but every time I start the car again, oh surprise, it is deactivated as well as the BT name which is again DUDUAUTO and it loses the customization, I have the device in standby mode not in shutdown mode, that is to say that every time I start the car the only thing that refreshes are the PiPs of the launcher and it does not start from 0.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah renaming the BT name on other Android settings... and testing turning off and on the vehicle

    sorry, this are my specs

Most certainly this is because your app needs also "device admin" permissions to make it permanent.
Try to give macrodroid also "device admin" permissions, if that is allowed.
Or you need to root your unit. Then set the accessibility permission and then you can unroot your unit again.

surfer63 and for the BT renaming what can i do? is a default setting that DUDUOS rename the BT on every wake up? or there is a way to change permanently? i will try the device admin permission fo the macrodroid app, thanks for all the support

Does the car have Can Bus?

I think the renaming of BT should be persistent.
        I don't know why it isn't.

          7862 Setup>System>Android Settings>Bluetooth2
If you are modifying the Bluetooth name from this location, it is useless to do so.
There are two Bluetooth hardware on the device, and the Bluetooth at this location is built-in Bluetooth, so you don't need to pay attention to it.
You usually connect to an external Bluetooth, and its name is DUDUAUTO. Currently, its name cannot be modified in the system.
If it is indeed necessary to modify the name of the external Bluetooth, perhaps this function will be implemented in the system in the future.
