Hi there,
Im sharing my experience trying to install a new dudu7 on my Mazda cx3 2019 so far:

It was very hard for me to connect all the wires because there is not space enough between wires, the case frame, and the head unit. Eventuallly I did it.

The first time I could turn on the machine the sound volume was very very high. "Wellcome administrador" I think it said.
I tried to low the volumen with Mazda oem controls but they dont seem to work. So Canbus wasnt ok. I tried to search in settings but I couldnt see my Mazda model and I dediced to try next morning because it was late night...

Next morning my car didnt start... I unplugged everything and install again my old oem radio and the car didnt start either. Dead battery. I could recover it with a powerstarter but there is a battery warning menssage and istop doesnt work.

So I dont know what to do next. I dont want to install it again before I know what could happened.

If someone could help I will thank you a lot.

Dornstud24 When installing again, double check that the cable connections are correct, see these instructions https://wiki.dudu-auto.com/en/installation/wirings.
Make sure the connections are correct and start the car
Battery is dead: cable connection may be incorrect, you can test Starting the car/shutting down the vehicle Does the DUDU7 start/shut down synchronously
1: In Setup - Car - CANBUS - Model Selection - select Mazda - cx3, plug the serial port into the C area on the back of the device, at this time the buttons on the steering wheel can control the volume; if you don't know how to use it, in Setup - Car - Square Hole Button Learning, you can learn the corresponding buttons
2: After restoring the power supply, you need to let the vehicle drive a certain distance before the warning prompts disappear.

This is encouraging! These are many of the settings I was worried about.

Another thing I'm wondering about - what happens if I need to take this to Mazda dealership or other mechanic because of some warning light/DTC? Will their scan tools work normally?

DarkKnight108 Yes, any fault code will show the cause of the fault

Hi there,

I’m using a Mazda and recently installed the latest DUDU screen.
I have a few questions:

In the CD CAR section that you’ve mentioned before — with options like bass, treble, Bose center, etc. — do those settings still actually work after installing the DUDU head unit?

When I adjust those values, does the sound change immediately?

Or are those options just display-only now and don’t have any real effect?

Also, if I change bass, treble, or Bose center in that menu, will it conflict with the EQ settings in the DUDU system?

I find the audio settings in DUDU OS quite overwhelming — there are so many options like EQ, fader, balance, DSP, surround effect, etc.
Could you kindly guide me on how to best tune the EQ for a Mazda (with the 10-speaker Bose system)?

Hi!

I’ve accessed that section as you mentioned, but on my Mazda CX-5, I don’t see all the sound options like treble, bass, etc., as shown in your screenshot. (OS 3.6)

On my screen, there are only two options: Bose Centerpoint and Bose AudioPilot.
However, I can’t make any changes to those — when I tap them, nothing happens.
They just stay fixed like in the screenshot I’ve attached, and I can’t toggle or adjust them at all.

Could you please let me know:

Is it because my car doesn’t support those sound settings?

Or is it possibly a bug or system limitation?

What should I do if I want to enable or adjust the original treble and bass settings like you showed?

Please provide the version information of DUDU

Hi how can I save the vehicle settings/ vehicle details every time i set it in vehicle settings and turn off the car it resets thanks in advance

Pickachu47 Do you mean all the settings in the vehicle information? After the settings are completed, if you turn off the engine and restart it, the settings will not be remembered?
