I just received my dudu7 from Amazon. But when hocking it up it says this is the European version. Can I just update the firmware or are there some physical differences and I need to send it back and get a different one?

have no concerns, everything will be good. as an american with no usa option i must manage only ego when selecting download location of other country like europe or southeast asia

It is indeed like @picasso1850 mentions: it is the download location for OTA downloads and the app store. There are globally 3 servers.
This regions as such have nothing to do with the functionality or regional settings of your unit.

I know this is an old thread. But will the next firmware update have US support? Namely the units of measurement.
