Oly51 you can turn on finger gestures and program volume up/down to your desired gesture motion. You can also add up / down volume buttons on your "sidebar" - you can also touch top left corner of screen where clock is for settings and volume control slider. Take all these suggestions with a grain of salt because im newbie going off memory.
