I tried to find the DPF "soot measured" value myself by logging the CAN traffic of my radio (log attached: log_2026-09-21_0.txt, 3.5 min, cold start + driving, VW Passat 2011-16, CANBox protocolId=393217).
Frames are: aa 55 <len> <type> <payload> <chk>
Most likely soot measured is frame type 0x13, payload byte 3 (frame looks like "aa 55 0a 13 03 97 xx ..."), scale raw / 20.48:
0x49 (73) -> 3.56
0x4a (74) -> 3.61
0x4b (75) -> 3.66
0x4c (76) -> 3.71
While driving I watched the OBD app at the same time: it showed 3.56 at the start and 3.66 around 15:36, which matches the frame values above.
As for coolant temperature - the OBD app showed it going 25/26 -> 40 C during the same drive, but I could not find any matching value in the radio's CAN stream, so it probably needs to be decoded / added by someone who knows this protocol better than me.
Would be great if soot measured and water temperature could be implemented.
Got this data from claude code so dont trust it 100%. but i tried to help you out. If you want i can also record you the can frames when i trun on heated seat. Are you intrested in such data?
