Smartphone contact names

What should i do to see the Smartphone contact names in the dudu phone application? I use up to date bluetooth firmware on dudu7 os 20260210. When i connect my phone first time codes do mismatch because my phone use newer protocoll with 6 numbers and dudu a pin with 4 numbers. Phone is a pixel7. Manual sync after sucessfull connection with all authorizations on the phone on does not help. Strange thing is the correct names appear during a call but does not appear in the contacts list...Please help.

What is your current Bluetooth firmware version?
If it is too low, you can open System Upgrade APP - More Upgrade - Bluetooth Upgrade to upgrade the Bluetooth firmware to the latest version, and then try pairing your mobile phone again. Or check whether your contacts are saved on your phone or sim card. If it is saved on the sim card, you can manually upgrade the Bluetooth firmware for testing.

@DUDU-Meng Current bluetooth version was end 2025, i updated this with your file succesfully to 260520 pair new. My contacts are in the google profile not on sim card. There is no change after firmware update. Somehow the contacts are in the dudu because i can search any name and it gives me back the correct numbers. But still i can see only numbers no names. ???

Please update the Bluetooth phone APP and give it a try. You are saying that the names in the address book are displayed normally, but only the numbers are displayed for recent calls, right?
If you still can't solve the problem after installing this APP, please check whether the number in the recent call is exactly the same as the number in your address book, and whether there are any extra prefixes.

@DUDU-Meng No, the names in the adress book are NOT displayed and the names for recent calls are NOT displayed. Just when i use the search function in the bluetooth phone app it is finding the correct number from the entered name.

@DUDU-Meng I installed the new phone app, no changes. The app does not show names. It shows numbers (mostly but not only in the international format +4912345678) and for some contacts it shows also the profile picture.

sleis Upgrading Bluetooth firmware + upgrading Bluetooth calling APP still can't solve your problem? Can you try it with a different phone model?

I saw the file you uploaded. Does this log include your manual steps for syncing contacts?

sleis I have a similar problem. When you sync your contacts are they all of them or just some number of the all of your contacts?

@DUDU-Meng I am not sure anymore. But as i saw in the log file it was at least syncing automatically, which should be the same...

sleis I have names but my contacts are partially synced. Which version is your BT driver? Mine is 20260104 if I remember correctly.

Hello, the log you uploaded does not contain any operation of synchronizing the address book. You only connected your mobile phone, but did not synchronize the address book, right?
If so, you just need to manually click Sync. If there is still a problem after manually synchronizing and downloading the address book, please capture the operation process in the log and send it to me, thank you.

The log you uploaded before just turned on the logging function and then uploaded the log file without any operation to download the contacts. In other words, it can be seen from the log that you did not download the contacts.

Do you have any other bluetooth device connected to the phone at the same time when initially connecting to the stereo? I have this problem when I want to connect my phone and sync contacts, but at the same time my watch is connected to my phone. The contacts will never sync this way. I have to disconnect the watch, then I think also the stereo, and then connect again only to the stereo. Then it works as it should. And after this first sync it then works well all the time. This is only if I reflash the unit and have to set it up from scratch.
