Состояние громкости по умолчанию не отключается, после сна устройство восстанавливает громкость по умолчанию вне зависимости от положения выключателя настройки.

When the Default Volume option is turned off and the current volume is greater than the Default Boot Volume, the volume returns to the Default Volume after sleep.
When the Default Volume option is turned off and the current volume is less than the Default Boot Volume, the volume remains unchanged after sleep.
