I have purchased a head unit for my Chevrolet Captiva a while back (SKU DUDU7-8-128-10.36-360) and have installed it on day one - been using it for over almost a year.
However, I never got the canbus unit to work properly with the car. The Canbus decoder has the following specs printed on it:
HW: 02. 04
SW: 2721. 1xxx. 06 (a)
For: Chinese characters
SN: 2025-04021-0494 T Electronics
Now, no matter what option I select in the UI for canbus - I always get CANBUS: Unknown CANBUS version error.
I literally tried all Chevrolet Captiva (or similar options this car is sold, like Opel Antara) - and all give me the same error.
Before you say I might have not installed it correctly, when I check the Version Information panel, I can see CANBUS: 2125042810 listed there; also, the SWC steering wheel control learning thing is working - I can map the steering wheel functions to certain actions.
But none of the other functions that the canbus should decode work.
Can someone please explain how can I fix this?
