Built In Amplifier: I don't hear any difference in sound quality, same as other build.
After Vol 10, bass is flat, even with a subwoofer

Still have issue with navbar staying in daylight theme after ACC ON (Night outside):

YAOXILONG may i know why some update only focused on DUDU7 device. How about us DUDU6 device user?

If you already end the support for DUDU6 devices, please inform earlier before we purchase this model.

Please consider other device too when implementing the update.

Hello! In the previous update (20251231), the view did not work on a small screen (1024*600) "Normal Mode" and "Dual PIP Mode", only "Minimalist Mode" and "Bordless Mode". But in Dudu Launcher (simple dudu launcher, not OS Dudu), "Normal Mode" it worked perfectly and was very convenient.

Is there a way to solve this problem? I'll try this latest update today.

Is it possible to add Amplifier turn On/Off to the drop dowb menu where brightness and volume slider is in DUDU7?

I was excited for these two features;

Enhanced Carlink UI and stability
Added support for additional music players

While these are both welcome improvements, what I'm really looking forward is the amalgam of CarLink as a one of those additional music players.

CarLink would need to support MPRemoteCommandCenter API calls in it's CarPlay implementation for this to happen; hopefully it is only a matter of time.
I do appreciate that Stability is a higher priority than functionality; I wish more software developers realised this (especially Apple).

I updated to the TeyesCC3 MCU (2025/04), but it did not fix the SWC issue with any CarLink version after 250926.1708

This post by @UnagiC8 describing the same behavior with Spotify confirms the root cause:

The Issue:
The new CarLink update (Sept 2025+) switched from Exclusive MCU Control to standard Android Audio Focus (MediaSession). This makes CarLink behave exactly like Spotify or YouTube Music.

The Failure:
On Wake/Sleep or Source Switching, DuduOS (or the System) fails to pass the Media Button Events (SWC) to the active Android Media Session.

The SWC signals remain "stuck" at the MCU level (targeting Radio or Null).

Android apps (CarLink, Spotify) are running, but they never receive the Key Events.

Why the Workaround Works:
When we force-kill/restart CarLink or toggle Spotify to "Full Screen," the app requests Audio Focus Priority again. This forces the system to re-route the hardware buttons to the correct app.

Conclusion:
Please investigate how DuduOS handles Media Button Priority on Wake. The system is not checking for the active Android Media Session correctly, leaving buttons dead for any app that follows standard Android rules (New CarLink + Spotify).

Hi! I have a feature request:
A few versions ago (I believe it was 3.5) there was an option to hide the bottom navbar on specific apps (such as reverse camera or Carlink). This was later deprecated and never added back.
I like using my CarPlay in fullscreen (as most of us do). However, in order to achieve this without borders, you would have to manually hide the bottom bar BEFORE opening CarLink. And if you have it set up to automatically open as soon as the phone connects to the head unit, you would have to race and hide the bar before the connection gets stablished.

Also, if you slide up to reveal the navbar, the Carlink UI gets squished or 15% smaller with borders on every side, requiring to forcefully close the app and open it again to experience it in full screen.

It would be nice to have the Navbar hide in a per app basis, and a way to bring it back temporarily with the swipe up animation (the same as the normal SystemUI android navbar).

seamless installation..
have not yet had a chance to do any testing..

only used,
Magic Earth Navigation
which is always flawless..

Don’t use CarPlay or Android Auto..
not sure why anyone would a lesser quality system
with Dudu 7.. But to each, his own..

Normally the only link from the phone is Bluetooth for
podcasts..

Dudu 7 has everything operational, all within Dudu 7 software…via Canbus..
A/C controls, TPMS, temp, range, MPG, steering angle, Engine temp, dynamic back up

i put a completely new speaker system,
2, 3.5 in the dash,
4, a 6.5 in each of the 4 doors.
sound deadening floor & ceiling..
used a beatsonic mini amp for power.

Don’t do radio,
Don’t do apps,

KISS
keep it simple stupid,
seems to work quite well as a rule…

The DUDU-OS interface is very powerful, but, like all aftermarket headunits (and most Factory ones too), it trys to be everything for everyone. Sometimes you just need something that is simplified for everyday use.

CarPlay and Android Auto are basically minimalist remote screens for your Phone.

A lot of people keep their own content on their Phones.
I personally prefer using my own iTunes Music Library though Apple Music, but the Apple Music Android App is garbage. I also like that Apple Maps integrates with my Calendar locally so that I (theoretically) don't have Software Companies spying on my every move.

Despite a few shortcomings with DUDU-OS and CarLink, my DUDU7 provides the best CarPlay experience since my Alpine ILX007, and even has a bigger screen!
Despite DUDU-OS's limited compatibility with Aftermarket Cameras, and the inadequacies of all 360˚ Camera systems, my DUDU7 provides the best assistive vision of any Car I've driven (except some of the new Mercedes-Benz).

I'm sure DUDUAUTO will continue working with CarLink and various 360˚ App providers to overcome the deficiencies; these are my only criticisms;

Native Music App doesn't integrate with CarPlay using MPRemoteCommandCenter, or support iPhone music as an iPod.
360˚ App (both the old one and the new one) don't provide enough calibration to overcome bubbling, no matter how many times you recalibrate.
4-camera Interface for 360˚ cameras provide fisheye-view only.
Simple undistorted, unstitched views of each quadrant provide a practical alternative to full 360˚ vision (example; NP300 Nissan Connect; where each camera displays a triangle with hard diagonal borders on a birds-eye view).
Apps DPI settings should customisable on a per App Basis. Some Android navigation Apps don't properly scale to HiDPI screens; resulting in illegible street labels on WUXGA-sized screens. I'm sure they are fine on Tablets and Phablets, but are useless on HeadUnits.
Additional Cameras should be accessible, even when you have 360˚ cameras installed. Additional trailer and high-angle cameras provide extra vision when manoeuvring, which is important because 360˚ Cameras are useless if you have a trailer attached. (especially if your rear camera is mounted offset).

When using always dark mode and changing brightness with light switch the brightness difference is very little. Still too bright at night. If i use extremely dark brightness setting that turns on with always dark mode not light switch. Please fix

Mihail I wholeheartedly agree with my colleague's opinion, the brothel in the Menu is amazing! The best order was in version 3.5, and I suggest moving in that direction!

After update to 3.7b2 version, the on-screen turn signal animations do not work. Toggling the switch does not change anything. VW Jetta 2017 Canbus Raise RZ-08. 3.7b3 still the same bug, downgraded to 3.7b1 animations working again

Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve the product! It's invaluable!
After installation, I checked a couple of things and, so far, here are my conclusions. (Installed on a RAM 1500 Gen 4 2014.) The sound is still a bit odd; it's high-pitched and crisp if you leave everything at default.
The 360 panorama has great features, but in the new version, could you make it possible to change the view by repeatedly pressing a view (for example, side view) instead of having to go into the settings and select it each time? And could you also add a slider for the turn signal settings!!! Specifically, when you enable this slider, when you turn on the turn signal, the side camera appears full-screen, not in the pip window. Also, the Russian translation in the app needs to be corrected. Who should I contact? When will cameras with a Sony 662 chip be added to the panorama settings?
The car settings app is completely confusing, but it might be because of the Canbus. I have already ordered from another manufacturer, I will change it and see.
