Hello, Will my air conditioning panel work after installing this update?

I am using a DUDU7 head unit based on UIS7870 platform.

Device details:

Model: DUDU7
SoC: UIS7870
MCU firmware: 2024.01.24 (DUDUAUTO_53_L7870_N32P48F64_3G_E60_V1.0)
System: DUDU OS 250905

CANBUS details:

Model: LZ-LK-02
Label: “CAN BUS DECODER – For Lexus LS430 High”
HW: V1
SW: V4

Important information:

HVAC (air conditioning) control WORKED correctly before system/MCU update or power reset.
After the update, HVAC control from the Android screen stopped responding.
The original factory radio controls HVAC correctly, so the car and HVAC ECU are fully functional.
The CANBUS hardware is correct and dedicated for Lexus LS430 High.

Current issue:
It appears that the current MCU firmware no longer loads or contains the Lexus LS430 HVAC protocol/driver.
The CANBUS is now detected as Toyota LC100 fallback, which does not provide HVAC communication for LS430.

This is a software regression, not a hardware issue.

What is required to fix this:

Restore or add Lexus LS430 HVAC protocol support in the MCU firmware, OR
Provide a patched/custom MCU firmware for UIS7870 that includes Lexus LS430 HVAC support, OR
Provide a compatible CAN protocol driver for CANBUS LZ-LK-02 (LS430 High) that works with MCU 2024+.

Important notes:

MCU downgrade is blocked by anti-rollback, so rollback is NOT possible.
Replacing the CANBUS is not necessary, as this CANBUS worked correctly before.
The issue is fully reproducible and clearly related to MCU software.

Please advise:

If an MCU update or patch can be provided to restore Lexus LS430 HVAC functionality.
Or if there is an official solution for Lexus LS430 on UIS7870 with current MCU versions.

With the beta, it is cool that we can have "force night mode" and have brightness control with headlight switch.

But always a problem for me : I use "extreme dark mode" at night and with "force night mode", extreme dark is always ON, night and day.....
I think the switch "extreme dark mode" is just needed at night. No need at daylight.
The extreme dark have to be synchronized with headlight switch

I have found an odd bug. I have taken a video to show it too.

If I open the door the popup shows, I should be able to press the popup to make it disappear. This works if I have canbus set to left hand drive but it doesn't work when set as right hand drive. Can this be fixed for right hand drive?

liamstears lol this bug has been there for a while and I reported it long time ago and @DUDU-Meng got back to me saying he couldn't not reproduce it. I have RHD and according to your video its only impacting RHD.

I have just disabled it completely as it was really annoying.

Please provide a screenshot of your system information. We were unable to reproduce this issue using the Toyota Protocol test.
When you click it, it disappears, but then immediately pops back up, correct?
If you don't click it, does it disappear on its own after a while?

Hello, i'm using fyt headunit with dudu os installed. I disabled internal microphone by tapping last 2 pin on flex cable. I tried with 2 different external microphone, both of them provided no sound, only noise. I bought a 12v microphone amplifier then the headunit could receive sound from microphone but the volume was still too low even I maximized the amplifier. I found no external microphone toogle in dudu settings. Is it a problem with my head unit that will never able to use external microphone?

Have anyone noticed that the ZOOM feature is broken in both beta 1 and beta 2? Sure, it makes the NavBar larger, but also restores it to the default layout and prevents any customization (none of the NavBar settings work anymore)...

Also, guys, can I ask you to stop fighting against Android's built-in scaling features? You're basically reinventing the wheel here... All you have to do is fix your own UI (switch from "px" to "dp" units) and get rid of any PIP-specific DPI settings (PIPs should be using the same DPI as the rest of the UI)... This way a single DPI slider (that's also built-in Android) would scale everything perfectly...

Yes it makes just more Problems than necessary... Just keep it simple..The OS is nice but some visuals are too tiny to read in 9.5 Screen.

Hello, may I downgrade to 3.7b1?
After updating to 3.7b2, it cannot get tpms info from canbus. It always displays disconnected.
AC info is also unstable. Sometimes it keeps info from last start even I changed temp and mode. It will works again after restarting the engine.
It would be nice if I can keep this firmware version and only downgrade canbus app

I would like the request the addition of the ADAS widget (like in Minimalist mode) to be included in Borderless mode! Or incorporate the ADAS widget in the Navigation widget as a setting.

How can I reactivate it without performing a complete factory reset and having to reinstall everything?

Cabrioman Did you find solution about this? I can't find 360 camera setup menu for initialize again. I'm also same boat with you and when turn on 360 cam, screen display with black background with 'No Signal' message only.

go to SETTING -> Vehicle -> Factory Settings (PW:108) -> Reversing mode selection -> Panorama 360 Mode -> [ Reboot ] : Problem solved!

Wow... what a drama. This is very hard to find for revive 360 cam function again after this update. Dev team, please consider later for other people would not wandering every menu like me please.

Quick and bold update is also good try but keep better UI also makes better quality of DUDU's service and makes higher reputation.
