  • Dudu7 - volume control

Hi guys/girls,

I’ve just installed my 12-256gb dudu7 9.5” unit into my car.

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to adjust volume through the unit? Is there a menu/volume bar/widget available?

      If you click on the time at the bottom right, there's a volume slider in the popup panel. Also check the settings for SWC steering wheel control to bind volume to your steering wheel buttons or get a dudu bluetooth controller.

      Is there a volume control KNOB (bluetooth, wifi, usb?) that will work with the Dudu7? That would be a nice accessory. Mostly just curious. I have the controls on the steering wheel but would prefer a dedicated volume knob with push button mute. I do have plans for eventually installing a DSP which will have a volume knob but it still would be nice for many to have an add on master volume knob that works seamlessly. Thanks!

        eurban search Amazon for Bluetooth volume knob and you will see some cool usb and Bluetooth ones. I already have a big volume knob on my dash or I would get one

          Так же у DUDU есть в продаже модуль blutooth кнопок. Но он на батарейках, соответственно периодически необходимо будет менять батарейки.

                TiL Does it work for all sound sources or just things like music? Does the pause / continue feature work? Does it require setup or is it automatic? Thanks!

                    Sorry for the delay. Works for all sound sources. No setup required, pause and next song works, but for next song it's inconvenient.

                    This can be tested as well, but volume up and down won't be as convenient.

                      Just want to come back and say that this $10 volume knob definitely works with the DUDU7! Just hook it up to one of the USB connections, and it's plug-and-play. In addition to turning it left/right for volume up/down, you can also click it like a big button to mute/unmute, and if you hold it down for 2 seconds you can toggle the color-changing LED ring on/off. Finally, you can just get some foam tape or something to mount it where you want. Excellent! https://amzn.to/4giZsRJ
