CarPlay has lagging ? Some fix!?

I recently bought a unit with the DuduAuto 7 system, which is fantastic, but I've had a bad experience with CarPlay (iOS 26). I'm experiencing too much lag when interacting with CarPlay. Is there any way to fix this problem? I've seen that you use the CarLink 2.0 app; is that the latest version? A few minutes ago, I updated to the latest firmware version via OTA, but the problem persists (it's a unit with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage). I've also noticed that when you return to the main menu and re-enter CarPlay, the screen doesn't fully adapt (it has black borders).

BrandonKname You have some settings in the Carplay app. Open it when you don't have a phone connected so you can adjust those settings. Try to change the wi-fi from 2.4 to 5G and the FPS settings to HIGH. Maybe this will help.

I have the same with spotify.
5G cell phone connected. Fast enough.
It lags terrible and does not respond to my mfs.

BrandonKname Settings/More features/Tasks.
Create a task like this
Trigger: Vehicle ignition
Delay: 2-3 seconds
Perform: Open the app
Associated app: Carlink 2.0

MihaiFlorin I tried looking for the 4G option in the Carlinkit settings and I only have 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

BrandonKname Sorry, 5Ghz. My bad. I think your problem is with the FPS. Try to change it to HIGH

I always use a wired connection if possible - it's always very smooth with no lagging (plus no battery drain). I've heard people say you get slightly better audio quality, due to it not being recompressed to send over wifi - but I don't know if this is true or not.
