Petal maps not working

The script did its work., but not completely. Your system is now partly configured as a UK system for the ro.product.locale values.
The problem however is that the persist.sys values are empty, but the script does set these as well (tries to set).
I assume that the system part of the rom overwites the persist sys properties with empty values, which is wrong.
I assume the developers are too cautious. It is better to give them a value, like for example persist.sys.country=US. In that case you do have a country value.
(persist values are also kept after reboot, but can be overwritten with enough access rights. That is with root access from the recovery, like the script does. But they should not be overwritten again when the firmware "normally" boots)

I don't have any other options at this point. If it's convenient for you, you can try restoring DUDU7 to its factory settings.

DUDU-Meng I have Google maps installed atm, but when I set the navigation I get it cutting off the text like this

Any ideas on how to stop it doing that? Its happening regardless of if I run the app in both full screen and pip.

DUDU-Meng still not got it working. I've tried installing older versions of the app etc but nothing works :/

Its really annoying as on the dudu app store it is in the navigation section as an available navigation app and has photos uploaded of it running on a dudu head unit.

Also, found these were blank in the android properties:

Surely "persist.sys.country" should be persist.sys.country "GB"

Not sure what the others should be but surely they shouldn't be blank?

Is your Google Maps running in full-screen mode or Picture-in-Picture mode?
If it's running in full-screen mode, this is likely an issue with the app's own layout allocation. You can check Google Maps' settings to see if there are any relevant options.

DUDU-Meng It does it if I run it in full screen mode, and it does it if I run it in picture in picture mode

DUDU-Meng found a fix for the text clipping is:
Go into android settings - accessibility - then make the font smaller.
