No region option for UK

How come there is no option for UK as a region option in the settings? There is Europe which works fine for most things but there are some apps that don't work or are just straight up not able to be downloaded that are available in the UK but not all of Europe.

Is the UK going to be added as a separate region?

BBishop123 I haven't come across any application that isn't available to download in the UK versus Europe. UK is in Europe anyway. Which apps are you talking about? Apps that don't work or not able to download is connected to the fact that it's not a certified phone and apps aren't compatible with DEVICE, not Dudu region set.
Plus region set in Dudu has nothing to do with Google play apps or any profiling of the apps to download. It's purely for Dudu server to communicate regarding trip stat memory etc.

Mikescotland I'm trying to use petal maps, and it says "map service not available in your current region", I'm in the uk and the app works fine on all my other devices.

Hmm, maybe theres an option im missing in the android settings then.

Unable to download in the UK on my UK region phone from Google play (it says petal is for older android version) but, used huawei app store and installed.
I switched my phone to Poland region, turned on VPN to my Polish IP, spoofed location to Poland and it's working.

So, it's basically not a region settings but petal maps are checking something else. What? I don't know. Must be something in the device.

Mikescotland yeah I can get it downloaded from the huawei app store and it works on my UK phone without vpn, just on the head unit that it's not working. I haven't tried using a vpn to another country yet so will give it a go. Got it downloaded on the head unit via the Huawei app store as well, just says the not available in your region message.

BBishop123 what I meant by testing with Europe localisation, Europe country gps spoofing and VPN to a European IP, is that Petal works fine with Europe region, not just UK, there is something else in play with Dudu headunit. It's the same with WeChat mini programs, they work fine on my phone, yet in Dudu it's just a blank screen.
