No reverse camera feed when I put car in reverse gear on Toyota C-HR 2018

Thanks Mike, I thought as much, it seems my CANBUS isn’t detecting the reverse action, hence my unit not switching to reverse screen when the gear is on reverse, only time got somewhere was when I connected the 12V wire on the F unit to the C2/G5, the reverse camera was permanently on

Oyetunde It's the same with me, that's why I ordered the 360 cameras, I hope there won't be any problems with them

To set up your reverse camera when shift to reverse you need to connect the white trigger line which is close to the back up camera to the to the position terminal of the reverse light and the red trigger which is on the other side of the unit connect that one to the second line of power meaning g5 reverse cable

Oyetunde if you have a multimeter, you could check if any of the car original wires and new ones have 12V on reverse, you might be lucky. And then connect that line to G5.
Or, simply tap into reverse light bulb and run to G5. Simplest and cheapest.

Oyetunde Connect C2 to G5, and the 12V port of F is not needed.

Mikescotland thanks, I would try the multimeter, if no joy, I’d just run a wire directly from the reverse light to the G5

dudu-lai the G5 is connected to the C2, it makes no difference, doesn’t switch to reverse when on R gear

Both side of the camera connector has a external tiny cable about 3 to 5 inch or less then long which is attached to the main black connector cable the unit side is red and the back camera side is white or so do you have these this is called trigger line

I would, but I checked the last time and I can say that the CANBUS wire is there.
